TL;DR: In this article, an estimation unit can estimate, on a real-time basis, a maximum power generation capacity of a single cycle or combined cycle gas turbine power plant, relying on a mathematical process model.
Abstract: An estimation unit can estimate, on a real-time basis, a maximum power generation capacity of a single cycle or combined cycle gas turbine power plant. For example, the actual power output and the maximum power generation capacity can be calculated relying on a mathematical process model. Subsequently, the calculated actual power output can be compared with the measured power output yielding a model-estimation error. Based on the model-estimation error, a correction signal can be deduced, to correct the calculated maximum power generation capacity. A controller can maintain a specified power reserve. The controller can use an estimate of the maximum power generation capacity as a reference, subtract a load offset, and apply the resulting signal as upper limit of the load set-point.

TL;DR: In this paper, a probabilistic load flow model was proposed to analyze voltage fluctuation in the integration of wind power plants using load flow calculation, which can provide instructions on reactive power compensation, the location of a wind power plant, generation scheduling and dispatching.
Abstract: A new method for analyzing voltage fluctuation in the integration of wind power plants using probabilistic load flow is presented in this paper. This method takes many probabilistic factors into consideration such as the generation output variations of wind power plants, load fluctuations, generator outages and branch outages, and then by probabilistic load flow calculation, not only the probabilistic distributions of nodal voltages are obtained, but also voltage fluctuations can be demonstrated. Moreover, the proposed method may help the optimization of reactive power compensation at wind power plants. In addition, a three-parameter Weibull distribution model that takes the location parameter into account is proposed to describe wind speed random fluctuation. Compared with the two-parameter Weibull distribution model, the impact of high speed wind on the power output of the wind turbine is considered by the presented model. Therefore, more satisfactory results can be obtained in the evaluation. The computation results of the IEEE RTS-24 test system with a wind power plant not only show the effectiveness of this method but also indicate that it can provide instructions on reactive power compensation, the location of a wind power plant, generation scheduling and dispatching. As a result, it is a useful tool for electrical engineers to study the voltage quality of the grid and choose a suitable integration location for a wind farm.

TL;DR: In this article, a power recycling system receives input power at an input and feeds back through an auxiliary output recycled power to the input for supplementing the input power for recycling energy of the recycled power that would normally be wasted so as to provide improved power efficiency.
Abstract: A power recycling system receives input power at an input and feeds back through an auxiliary output recycled power to the input for supplementing the input power for recycling energy of the recycled power that would normally be wasted so as to provide improved power efficiency. The system can have several configurations, including a system for testing power supplies under test, or can be any electrical device, system, appliance or electronic load having a power input and auxiliary output for feeding back recycled energy to the power input.

TL;DR: In this article, a new power supply system by using renewable energy power production plant in isolated island is proposed, which is able to generate reactive power by using three phase inverter.
Abstract: Wind turbine generators and PV system causes fluctuating power condition. Therefore, the fluctuating power causes frequency and voltage fluctuations. In order to solve this problem, we propose a new power supply system by using renewable energy power production plant in isolated island. The feature of this system is to use hydrogen production unit and fuel cell. The operation of suggested system absorbs fluctuating power of renewable energy. Furthermore, the proposed system is able to generate reactive power by using three phase inverter. The effectiveness of the proposed power supply system is shown through simulation results
