TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to reorder the original read order sequence by selectively adding pages from a pagelist to a batch such that when the batch is executed as a read operation, each page in the batch can be concurrently accessed.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for increasing efficiency of read operations by selectively adding pages from a pagelist to a batch, such that when the batch is executed as a read operation, each page in the batch can be concurrently accessed. The pagelist can include all the pages associated a read command received, for example, from a file system. Although the pages associated with the read command may have an original read order sequence, embodiments according to this invention re-order this original read order sequence by selectively adding pages to a batch. A page is added to the batch if it does not collide with any other page already added to the batch. A page collides with another page if neither page can be accessed simultaneously. One or more batches can be constructed in this manner until the pagelist is empty.

TL;DR: In this article, a character string "watched a puppet theater show" is described in a file to be processed (F3), and the "puppet theater" in this string is then rewritten to "story-board".
Abstract: For example, the character string "watched a puppet theater show" is described in a file to be processed (F3), and the "puppet theater" in this string is then rewritten to "story-board". In this case, a new file number #=n+1 is assigned to the file to be processed (F3), and when an update is performed, the file is stored as a file to be processed (F(n+1)). In a compression code map (M), a bit of the file number n+1 is set in each appearance map. The bit of a deletion map (D) of the file number n+1 is set to be ON. With respect to the file to be processed (F(n+1)), due to the deletion of "puppet theater", the bits of the character information for "puppet", "theater", and "puppet theater" are turned OFF, and the bit of the character information for "story-board" is turned ON. On the other hand, the bit of the deletion map (D) of the file number (3) is turned from ON to OFF.

TL;DR: A runtime environment called Xruntime is proposed that allows a user to use various clusters with single batch job script language the user is familiar with, without learning other batch jobScript languages used on other clusters.
Abstract: Most HPC clusters are now based on an x86 architecture and Linux. In a Grid consisting of such clusters, users might think that a single executable file, a data set, and a single job script will work in all cluster environments. However, due to the lack of interoperability of MPI library implementations, file systems, and batch job systems, users need to be conscious of the runtime environments over the Grid. In order to overcome such differences, we propose a runtime environment called Xruntime consisting of the following three components. MPI-Adapter is middleware between the user program and an MPI implementation to make it possible to execute a single executable code on different MPI implementations. Catwalk is transparent file staging middleware that makes remote files accessed by an application visible as if they were located in the local system. Xruntime allows a user to use various clusters with single batch job script language the user is familiar with, without learning other batch job script languages used on other clusters.

TL;DR: This chapter introduces the facility for automated, dynamic, accurate, precise, and self-maintainable traceabilities among related software documents and test cases and source code established through test case execution and some keywords used within the test case descriptions to indicate the format of the documents.
Abstract: This chapter introduces the facility for automated, dynamic, accurate, precise, and self-maintainable traceabilities among related software documents and test cases and source code established through test case execution and some keywords used within the test case descriptions to indicate the format of the documents as well as the file paths and the bookmarks for automatically opening the documents from the corresponding positions when the related test case is selected for forward tracing or traced backwards from the corresponding source code. When a test case is executed, a Time Tag will be automatically inserted into both the test case description and the database of the test coverage measurement results for mapping them together. No matter if the contents of a document are modified, or the parameters of a test case are changed, or the corresponding source code is modified, after rerunning the test case the traceabilities will be updated automatically without any manual rework. Here a “document” means a regular file for requirement specification, design description, test requirement specification, user manual, project development plan, cost report, or a Web page as well as a batch file for dynamically running a related program such as a tool for selectively playing back the GUI operations captured with the test case execution, and displaying the test coverage measurement result shown in a new type of control flow diagram which is interactive and traceable with untested source modules and branches highlighted at the same time for automated software acceptance testing.
