Method for batch file printing and related user interface

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily perform user setting for batch printing a number of files in selected printing preferences. SOLUTION: A user opens a file using an application, and issues a print request. From a print dialog box displayed, the user chooses to set printing preferences. The print preferences dialog box includes tabs for setting various printing references, and a printing tab for selecting a group of files to be batch printed using the same printing preferences. The printing tab includes a file list box showing the files to be included in the batch and buttons allowing the user to add files to or remove files from the list. The selected files, along with the currently open file, are printed at once using the same printing preferences set by the user. Method for storing a program into an auxiliary memory

Abstract: Predetermined condition data are stored in an auxiliary memory. The condition data includes source information used for generating a complete program. A program structure file 4-9 generated in accordance with the condition data. A complete program is generated by using the program structure file. After the complete program has been executed, the program is erased while preserving the program structure file and a batch file.

Abstract: A printer having a PDF batch file direct print function and a method thereof are provided for preventing a printing error from occurring while printing the PDF batch file. The printer is connected to a predetermined terminal device and includes an interface unit receives PDF data from the terminal device, a detector detects a header mark identifying a header of the PDF data, a calculator calculates a distance between the header marks, if a plurality of header marks are detected by the detector, and a determination unit determines a data between the first and the second header marks as one PDF file, if a distance between a first header mark and a second head mark is greater than a certain threshold.

Method for supporting multi-operating system by system service and device

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for supporting a multi-operating system by system service and a device, belonging to the field of a computer. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a system service command which comprises at least a system service program name; according to the system service program name and the type of a current running operating system, obtaining a corresponding batch file from a batch file collection which comprises a prefix name, a suffix name and a batch file, wherein the prefix name is identical to the system service program name, and the batch file corresponds to the type of the operating system; and according to the batch file, calling and running the system service program so as to finish the system service. The scheme leads a system administrator to be able to successfully finish the management of service on each operating system in the condition of only knowing the system service command, so as to reduce operational complexity, widen application scope and improve consumer experience.
