TL;DR: In this article, a bell-mouth ring is formed with a casing to be disposed proximately at an outer radial side of a shroud, which has a deflection wall surface for deflecting a flow of air blown out radially outwardly from the centrifugal multi-blade fan and further flowing radially inwardly toward the rotation axis.
Abstract: A bell-mouth ring is formed with a casing to be disposed proximately at an outer radial side of a shroud. The bell-mouth ring has a deflection wall surface for deflecting a flow of air blown out radially outwardly from the centrifugal multi-blade fan and further flowing radially inwardly toward the rotation axis along an inner wall surface of the casing, toward the driving means. In this way, it is possible to suppress air from flowing backward to a suction port through a gap between the shroud and the bell-mouth ring. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the noise generated by an interference of the air sucked from the suction port with the air flowing backward or by the turbulence of the air flow which is generated in the gap.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly shorten the manufacturing process, reduce the weight, and decrease the number of part items by arranging socket members in a cured polyurethane foam block in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A bell mouth block 11 is made of cured polyurethane foam, and a plurality of socket members 12, 12 are longitudinally arranged in the bell mouth block 11. One ends of the socket members 12, 12 in the bell mouth block 11 extend from the block 11, and in which ring-like engaging protrusions 13 are formed on the terminals and bell mouth-like opening parts 15 are integrally formed on the other ends. The peripheries of the parts of the socket members 12 inserted into the block 11 are taken as roughened surfaces 14, and tight contactness to the block 11 is improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive air purifier whose installing area is made small so that it can be used in a dust generating work site of a narrow and closed space such as a tunnel digging jobsite and by which large gas volume to be treated is adopted and gas volume to be treated is arbitrarily changed according to dust generating conditions. SOLUTION: Around a cylindrical cage 1 horizontally installed and freely rotatable, a beltlike filter medium 4 drawn out from a draw-out roll 2 and going around the outer periphery of the cylindrical cage 1 and wound on a winding roll 3 is wound, and also one of a cylindrical open ends of the cylindrical cage 1 is covered with a blind cover 5, and another open end is connected to a suction duct 7 having a diameter smaller than that of the cylindrical cage 1 through a bell mouth 6 to suck the purified air.

TL;DR: In this article, a connective duct sleeve 3 comprises a bell mouth 4 connected through with a special portion 1 and a retractable joint 5 connected with the base end portion of the Bell Mouth 4 to make the underground pipe 2 movable in its longitudinal direction.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform easily and quickly the connecting work of wires with a special portion and eliminate the restrictions of wire laying works, by providing a retractable joint connected with the base end portion of a bell mouth with a nearly flared front end portion connected through with the special portion, and by connecting an underground pipe with the retractable joint. SOLUTION: A connective duct sleeve 3 comprises a bell mouth 4 connected through with a special portion 1 and a retractable joint 5 connected with the base end portion of the bell mouth 4, and the sleeve 3 connects an underground pipe 2 with the retractable joint 5 to engage the pipe 2 internally with the joint 5 in the state of allowing the pipe 2 to move in its longitudinal direction. Thereby, it can be avoided surely that the duct sleeve 3 generates its positional discrepancy accidentally in the window frame of the special portion 1 in the case of fastening the duct sleeve 3 to the special portion 1, and therefore, the connecting work of the underground pipe 2 with the special portion 1 can be performed easily and quickly. Moreover, since the retractable joint 5 is connected with the base end portion of the bell mouth 4 to make the underground pipe 2 movable in its longitudinal direction, the total earthquake resistance of an underground multi-purpose duct for wires can be obtained similarly to conventional ones.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed to enable suction having high efficiency without generating turbulent flow in a suction port and a bell mouth by suspending the tip of a screw impeller to the connecting part of the bell mouth, and expanding the suction ports through a process of cutting the center side on the suspended impeller.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suction having high efficiency without generating turbulent flow in a suction port and a bell mouth, by suspending the tip of a screw impeller to the connecting part of the bell mouth, and expanding the suction port through a process of cutting the center side on the tip of the suspended impeller. SOLUTION: With rotation of a screw impeller 1, vortex is generated near a bell mouth 5, or the generation is restrained by a protrusion 5c, and water in which vortex is restrained is allowed to smoothly flow from a suction port 5a of the bell mouth 5 into the bell mouth 5 along a straightening ring 5b. That is, the water is straightening by the straightening ring 5b and allowed to smoothly flow along the inner surface of the bell mouth 5, and suction having high efficiency can be performed. Since the tip of the screw impeller 1 is suspended to the upper end of the bell mouth, and also since a wide suction port 1c is formed by cutting the center side on the tip of the screw impeller 1, water is sufficiently fed to the center part of the impeller on which suction force is formerly decreased, and efficient pumping can be performed.

TL;DR: In this article, a dimension change amount or rate in the terminal shaft direction of a conductor caulking part 6 before and after caulking is calculated, and the compressibility of an electric wire 4 to the conductor caulk part 6 based on the dimension change amounts or rate is calculated in reference to a cross section after caulk to prepare known compressibility comparison data.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily judge the quality of a connected condition between an electric wire and a conductor caulking part and the quality of molded condition of a bell mouth for preventing the wires from being cut, and to improve productivity of a manufacturing process and reliability of quality control. SOLUTION: A dimension change amount or rate in the terminal shaft direction of a conductor caulking part 6 before and after caulking is calculated, and compressibility of an electric wire 4 to the conductor caulking part 6 based on the dimension change amount or rate is calculated in reference to a cross section after caulking to prepare known compressibility comparison data. After preparing the known comparison data, a dimension change amount or rate between marks 8, 8 put on molding standard positions of the conductor caulking part 6 is calculated to be compared to the known compressibility comparison data to judge the quality of a connected condition between a terminal metal fixture and the electric wire 4. Moreover, by matching a width of the mark 8 with a dimension crossing width at molding the bell mouth 9 to make sure of a position of the base end part of the bell mouth 9, the quality of the molded state of the bell mouth 9 is judged.

TL;DR: In this paper, a general trumpet tuning and correction system is described, which is based on fitting a telescopic section 6 between the elbow of the sound tube that emerges from the respective "engine" 2 of the instrument and the bell or bell mouth 4 for the exit of air, this telescopic coupling being formed of an integral section 6 of the elbow and a moveable section 6' forming part of the internal end corresponding to the bell mouth.
Abstract: General trumpet tuning and correction system. The system is based on fitting a telescopic section 6 between the elbow of the sound tube that emerges from the respective "engine" 2 of the instrument and the bell or bell mouth 4 for the exit of air, this telescopic coupling being formed of an integral section 6 of the elbow 5 and a moveable section 6' forming part of the internal end corresponding to the bell mouth 4, movement taking place in one direction or the other of both sections 6 and 6' by means of a rod 7 with a threaded end section 9, a rod 7 that is manually operated by means of an external control 8 and enables the general tuning of the instrument to be carried out by rotating the rod 7, while its axial movement enables the correction of this tuning and a separate tuning of each of the notes forming part of the trumpet's register.
