TL;DR: In this article, a sound generator for a system for influencing sound waves propagating through an exhaust system of a vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine, including an enclosure comprised of an upper shell and a lower shell, is configured for a fluid communication with the exhaust system.
Abstract: A sound generator, for a system for influencing sound waves propagating through an exhaust system of a vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine, includes an enclosure comprised of an upper shell and a lower shell. A bell mouth, supported by the lower shell and penetrating the lower shell, is configured for a fluid communication with the exhaust system. A loudspeaker is disposed in the enclosure and supported by the bell mouth. The lower shell of the enclosure supports the upper shell of the enclosure. The bell mouth is solely supported by the lower shell of the enclosure. The lower shell may include at least one air-tight feed-through for a control wire connected to the loudspeaker and/or at least one pressure equalizing valve. An anti-sound system is provided that includes the sound generator and a vehicle is provided with the anti-sound system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a blower having a bellmouth 7 surrounding radial outside of a propeller fan is formed comprising an extending part 7d serially connecting the bellmouth with a straight part 7a, a blowout side arc part 7b, a suction side arc 7c and a large diameter end of the suction part 7c, and extending from these parts to the radial outside.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower reducing blowing noises and an air conditioner comprising the blower. SOLUTION: This blower having a bellmouth 7 surrounding radial outside of a propeller fan 3 is formed comprising an extending part 7d serially connecting the bellmouth 7 with a straight part 7a, a blowout side arc part 7b, a suction side arc part 7c and a large diameter end of the suction side arc part 7c and extending from these parts to the radial outside. By constituting in such a manner, when a suction air flow turns into a shade region B of the radial outside of the bellmouth 7 and is taken in bypassing a mouth edge of the extending part 7d, even if temporal detachment in the air flow occurs at the mouth edge, the detached air flow re-sticks to the inner surface of the extending part 7d while flowing through it and then taken in inside the bellmouth 7 in a smooth flow. Accordingly, the turbulence of the air flow is suppressed to the upmost and the blowing noises occurring from an interference between the turbulent air flow and a blade 5 is effectively reduced for improving the quiet operativity of the blower. TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method to promote the improvement of blower performance and the reduction of noise by arranging a partitioning part and an outlet part of an air passage to be positioned in an equal level for a flow of air.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of blower performance and the reduction of noise by arranging a partitioning part and an outlet part of an air passage to be positioned in an equal level for a flow of air while guiding a sound- absorbing material to the partitioning part, in the case of a bell mouth which is arranged in the air introducing side of a centrifugal fan comprising the air passage and the partitioning part. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal fan 2, turned by a motor 3, is arranged in a scroll 1, and a duct 5, providing an outside air introducing port 5A and an inside air introducing port 5B, is arranged interposing a bellmouth 4 in a suction port of this centrifugal fan 2. Supporting a damper 6 to be pivotally mounted in the duct 5, either the introducing port 5A or 5B can be closed. The bellmouth 4 is constituted of an air passage, comprising an inlet part 4A of air and its outlet part 4B, and a partitioning part 4C between the scroll 1 and the duct 5. In the blower device thus obtained, the bellmouth 4 forms its outlet part 4B to be positioned in an equal level to that of the partitioning part 4C for a flow of air. While a sound-absorbing material 8 is glued to the partitioning part 4C in its side of the duct 5.

TL;DR: In this paper, an aorta valve bracket with an anchoring foot is presented, consisting of three parts: a dual-horn-shaped bracket, a valve, and an anchor foot.
Abstract: The invention relates to an aorta valve bracket with an anchoring foot, consisting of three parts: a dual-horn-shaped bracket (1), a valve (2) which is arranged inside the dual-horn-shaped bracket (2) and an anchoring foot (3); the dual-horn-shaped bracket (1) is divided into a near-core-end large bell mouth (11), a middle waist (12) and a far-core-end small bell mouth (13); the diameter of the waist (12) is less than that of the near-core-end large bell mouth (11) and the far-core-end small bell mouth (13); the valve (2) is oversewed between the far-core-end small bell mouth (13) and the middle waist (12); the anchoring foot (3) consists of a plurality of extended Ni-Ti wires (31) in inverted-shape and is arranged on the near-core-end large bell mouth (11). After the bracket of the invention is embedded, as the near-core-end anchoring foot exists, the displacement of the bracket generated by the blood flowing forwards is avoided, meanwhile, the mesh of the near-core-end is sparse, the opening of the coronary artery is not blocked; the mesh of the far-core-end is dense, thus providing powerful supporting force, effectively reducing the valve leakage and greatly improving the safety coefficient.
