Abstract: PURPOSE: To accomplish compactification and to improve wind starting ability by curving blade parts so that the angle radius, which the curved face makes with a radius line employing the axial line as the center, in each part of the curved face of the blade parts is reduced as it goes toward the outside in the radial direction CONSTITUTION: In a fan shroud 7 for a heat exchanger, multiple blade parts 6, which are arranged at some intervals and are parallel to each other, are arranged in a rear part bell mouth 8, which is formed in the rear end part of a shroud main body 2 and is tapered toward the upstream side, while the curved faces of the blades 6 are parallel to the axial line of the shroud main body 2, and the curved faces are curved so that, in each part of the curved faces, an angle which the curved face makes with the radius line employing the axial line as the center is reduced as it goes further to the outside in the radial direction Therefore, wind starting force in the vicinity of the tip part of blades 5 of a fan 4 is increased Especially, a circumferential directional velocity component and a radius directional velocity component are large in the tip part of the blades 5 of the fan 4, so that air flow is smoothly faired by means of the blade parts 6 conforming with the flow in the flow direction, and the wind starting ability is improved as a whole COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO

Abstract: This is an improved apparatus used with a storage and reclamation apparatus which handles slurry formed of particulate matter and fluid. The reclaim apparatus incluaes a tank having a side wall and bottom. The slurry is added into the tank and is subsequently removed from the tank by a downwardly facing bell mouth coupled through a pipe to a pump. Fluidizing jets surround the bell mouth with a dilution control port mounted between the mouth and the pump. Fluidizing jets surround the bell mouth and the pump. The dilution control port is connected to a second pump in series with a source of fluids. Process control apparatus measures the flow and density of the material being drawn into the mouth and adds or reduces dilution fluid in accordance with a set point so that a constant density is maintained at all times. By using the heat energy of engine exhaust to heat air, the utility model can quickly improve the temperature of air after the engine is started (5 to 10 minutes) and is used to heat for carriages. The utility model comprises a bell mouth for air inlet 5, a heat exchanger 7, a hot-air control valve 15, a hot-air outlet 16, air guide pipes 6, 14, etc. The heat exchanger is positioned at the lower part of an exhaust pipe of the engine and the outside of the exhaust pipe is added and installed the heat exchanger; the utility model is provided with a spiral-typed plate which can make inlet air rotate a plurality of rounds to absorb the sporadic heat from the exhaust passage to enhance temperature, and the heated air is introduced into a driving cab or a carriage to heat. The anti-blocking type swirling flow noise reduction joint comprises a joint body and three bell mouths, wherein the outer diameter of the joint body is larger than that of the three bell mouths, one end of the joint body is connected with one end of the first bell mouth through a bevel, the other end of the joint body is connected with one end of the second bell mouth through a funnel-shaped connector, swirling flow blades are arranged on the inner wall of the funnel-shaped connector, and the middle of the joint body is connected with one end of the third bell mouth through a third connector. The anti-blocking type swirling flow noise reduction joint further comprises a clearing port and an outer sealing cover, wherein one end of the clearing port is connected with the middle of the joint body through an arc, external threads are arranged at the other end of the clearing port, internal threads matched with the external threads are arranged in the outer sealing cover, and the outer sealing cover is in threaded connection with the other end of the clearing port.
