TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a utility model for reinforcing-bar constructions of reinforced-bar concrete structures, which has small volume, exact size, high strength, small template contact area and is easy for fixing and not exposed.
Abstract: The utility model belongs to building engineering material technical field, in particular to a plastic cushion using for a reinforcing-bar protective layer, comprising a bottom plate and a bell mouth and is characterized in that a support plate is arranged on an upper part of the semicircle tooth shaped bottom plate, the bell mouth is positioned on the upper part of the support plate, a threading hole is disposed on a side face of the support plate, a groove and a half slot opening are provided on an upper end of the bell mouth, for inserting the reinforcing-bar into the bell mouth and the inserting and location of an upper line reinforcing-bar. A trough line is arranged at an internal side of the bell mouth for inserting the reinforcing-bar fixedly. Compared with the prior art, the utility model has small volume, exact size, high strength, small template contact area and is easy for fixing and not exposed and is applicable to the reinforcing-bar constructions of all reinforcing-bar concrete structures.

TL;DR: In this article, a flow passage in a flow guide is formed to cause sharp flow direction changes, for converting a portion of dynamic pressure of the room air into a static pressure in the flow direction change, and a cutoff is formed on an inside of the separation wall connecting the outlet and the flow passage.
Abstract: Turbo fan housing in a window type air conditioner including a flow guide including an inlet plate having a bell mouth for guiding room air, a base plate opposite to the inlet plate having an indoor fan mounted thereto for drawing the room air, and a separation wall between the inlet plate and the base plate to surround the turbo fan, an outlet formed by extension of the base plate and the separation wall from an opening formed on one side of the flow guide, and a cutoff formed on an inside of the separation wall connecting the outlet and the flow guide, wherein the indoor fan is a turbo fan, and a flow passage in the flow guide is formed to cause sharp flow direction changes, for converting a portion of dynamic pressure of the room air into a static pressure in the flow direction changes.

TL;DR: In this paper, an improved version of an improved storage and reclamation apparatus with a downwardly facing bell mouth coupled through a pipe to a pump is described. But it does not handle the overflow from the tank into a second tank which has a second bell mouth mounted at the bottom of the tank.
Abstract: This is an improved apparatus used with a storage and reclamation apparatus which handles slurry formed of particulate matter and fluid. The reclaim apparatus includes a tank having a side wall and bottom. The slurry is added into the tank and is subsequently removed from the tank by a downwardly facing bell mouth coupled through a pipe to a pump. Fluidizing jets surround the bell mouth with a dilution control port mounted between the mouth and the pump. The dilution control port is connected to a second pump in series with a source of fluids. Process control apparatus measures the flow and density of the material being drawn into the mouth and adds or reduces dilution fluid in accordance with a set point so that a constant density is maintained at all times. The improved version accepts the overflow from the tank into a second tank which has a second bell mouth mounted at the bottom of the tank. Solids and fluids are sucked into the second bell mouth and used as the source of fluid for the dilution port of the first tank.

TL;DR: The variable geometry air intake system for an internal combustion engine used in a road vehicle is described in this paper, where a D-shaped housing with a projecting part containing an electric motor and a reduction gear train engaging a gear sector on a U-shaped inlet tube.
Abstract: The variable geometry air intake system is for an internal combustion engine used in a road vehicle. The air intake (1) has a D-shaped housing with a further projecting part (14) containing an electric motor (9) and a reduction gear train (20,19,10) engaging a gear sector (11) on a U-shaped inlet tube (6). The tube has a bell-shaped mouth (4) whose lip (22) may engage a stop to limit motion in the direction which increases the length of the air passage. The end remote from the bell mouth moves into the bell mouth (3) of a further straight air passage (8).

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a model of an air conditioner with a rotating fan and a bell mouth guiding air into the fan, where the rear portion of the mouth may include a plurality of alternately formed protruding portions and recessed portions, with the protruding portion and the recessed portion inserted into the shroud.
Abstract: A centrifugal blower for an air conditioner may include a centrifugal fan rotatably coupled to a motor, and a bell mouth guiding air into the centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan may include a hub fixed to a rotary shaft of the motor, a main plate provided at an outer circumferential surface of the hub, a shroud having a suction opening surrounding the rotary shaft, the shroud positioned opposite the main plate to define a main gas flow path, and a plurality of wings arranged along the circumferential direction of the suction opening between the main plate and the shroud. A rear axial end portion of the bell mouth may be inserted into the shroud through the suction opening so as to form a predetermined radial gap with the suction opening. The rear portion of the bell mouth may include a plurality of alternately formed protruding portions and recessed portions, with the protruding portions and the recessed portions inserted into the shroud.
