Abstract: The utility model relates to a noise reducing and efficiency improving mechanism of an axial-flow fan, in particular to a noise reducing and efficiency improving device of an axial-flow fan of a high-speed train air conditioning system, pertaining to the technical field of air conditioning equipment of rail transit vehicles, and is characterized in that the mechanism comprises a bell mouth which is connected with an air inlet of the axial-flow fan. By adopting the air inlet structure in which the bell mouth is arranged, the sudden contraction of air inlet can be avoided, the flow resistance loss can be reduced, the aerodynamic performance of the axial-flow fan is improved, the mechanical efficiency can be improved and the noise can be reduced; the arc radius of the bell mouth is not less than 1/5 of the air inlet diameter of the axial-flow fan, therefore the mechanical efficiency is remarkably improved along with the increasing of the bell mouth inlet arc radius; and the shell of the fan is laid with a sound absorption layer, therefore the noise can be reduced effectively.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction bell mouth of a pump which can easily change performance of the pump. SOLUTION: Straightening vanes 11 having a shape for giving pre-whirling or reverse pre-whirling to the fluid to be sucked into a suction bell mouth 10 are attached to the inside of the suction bell mouth 10. When the straightening vanes 11 give the reverse pre-whirling, a capacity of the pump increases. When the straightening vanes 11 give the pre-whirling, the capacity of the pump decreases.

Abstract: The invention discloses an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite pipe socket welding pipe joint. The socket welding pipe joint mainly comprises a pipe joint composed of a bell mouth and a socket, wherein the bell mouth is formed in the end of one end of a first pipe; the socket is arranged at the end, matched with the inside diameter of the bell mouth, of the second pipe; an electrothermal device is arranged on the surface of the socket, and comprises an electric heating wire, a wire distribution slot, a wiring terminal and a firm wire steel nail; the electrothermal device adopts an electric-heating-wire screw-type wire distribution structure; the bell mouth and the first pipe adopt an integrated structure; the socket and the second pipe adopts an integral structure. The socket welding pipe joint has a reasonable structural design, is convenient to operate, can realize mechanized spiral wire distribution, and is the pipe socket welding pipe joint which is uniform in slotting and wire distributing, simple in process, high in connection reliability, good in sealing performance and high in loading capacity.

Abstract: A study was undertaken to investigate the flow field around bell mouth groin in a large mobile bed physical model facility (46m x 11 m). A total number of 24 test runs were conducted. Three different discharges and four different angles and two groin conditions (submerged and non-submerged) was considered. All tests were conducted for 8 hours duration in clear water condition. Velocity data have been collected forming grids in both vertical and horizontal direction around the vicinity of the bell mouth groin. Velocity was measured at 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 depths from the water surface by forming grids. Change in flow conditions around bell mouth groin for various test run have been analyzed non-dimensionally in longitudinal, lateral and vertical direction. The streamwise velocity along lateral direction was found that the lateral shifting of maximum velocity away from the head of the bell mouth groin. In most cases, streamwise vertical velocity in lower part of the channel is found higher than that of upper part. Streamwise vertical velocity profile has been found variable with different discharges and does not follow its natural logarithmic pattern. Velocity vector indicates that flow is steady at upstream along longitudinal direction. The flow diverted at head of structure and flows through sides of structure towards downstream. A circulation of flow has been observed around head of structure after diverting of flow towards down. Immediately after rear front of structure, relatively weak circulation of flow has been observed.
