TL;DR: In this paper, the fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine comprises a valve housing and nozzle, having a nozzle body 1 with an axial bore 13 which has a slidable but not liquid-tight fitted nozzle needle 3 for reciprocating movement between opened and closed positions.
Abstract: The fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine comprises a valve housing and nozzle, having a nozzle body 1 with an axial bore 13 which has a slidable but not liquid-tight fitted nozzle needle 3 for reciprocating movement between opened and closed positions. In the upper portion of the axial bore 13 the sealing bellows 5 is fitted. The bottom of the bellows 5 is permanently kept in contact with upper end face of the nozzle needle 3. The bellow's flange is held in liquid-tight fashion between space 8 and top end face of the nozzle body for sealing the clearance between nozzle needle and body. A push rod 6 is the bellows 5 to impart an urging spring force to the nozzle needle 3. During the operation the nozzle needle 3 is lifted in unison with the bellows 5 against increased fuel pressure within the axial bore 13 in addition to the urging force of the nozzle spring 18. Thus a gradual lifting motion of the nozzle needle 3 is achieved and accordingly the fuel injection quantity is gradually increased at the start of the injection.

TL;DR: An expandable and collapsible belt-strap container for carrying sports cards on a person is described in this article, where a cover is attached to the bottom of the inner side of the container.
Abstract: An expandable and collapsible belt-strap container for conveniently carrying sports cards on a person comprises a container (10) having an inner side attached to the mid-portion (14) of a belt (12) by elastic webbings (13 and 13'). The container comprises an expandable and collapsible bellows (11) with an open top, and a flap (18) hingeably attached to an outer side of the container. The flap stretches across the open top and down the inner side of the bellows. A long piece of hook-and-loop fastener (19) is attached to the inner side of the bellows, while a short piece of hook-and-loop fastener (20) is attached to the distal side of the flap. Therefore, when the bellows is fully collapsed, the distal side of the flap may be attached to the lower side of the long fastener. When the bellows is fully expanded for carrying a large number of sports cards, the side of the flap may be attached to the upper side of the long fastener. Because the flap is attached to the bottom of the inner side of the container, it will stay in an opened position when swung outwardly. The bellows comprises a plurality of pleats, each having long and short sections, and sides and a bottom which are attached by curved comers, such that each pleat will be bistable (expanded or collapsed). The container, covering flap, and belt can all be separated or attached together.

TL;DR: In this paper, a compressor-expander type cooling, or heating system, is incorporated into a heel of a shoe, and is powered by reciprocal gravity pressures upon the shoe which occur naturally during walking.
Abstract: A compressor-expander type cooling, or heating system, is incorporated into a heel of a shoe, and is powered by reciprocal gravity pressures upon the shoe which occur naturally during walking. The cooling system functions through a bellows compressor chamber and a separate bellows expander chamber. The movable walls of the expander and the compressor are placed opposite each other, and transmit opposing vector forces to each other. A movable heel portion at the bottom of the shoe transmits movement to the movable walls of the compressor and the expander whenever the person wearing the shoes steps on the heel. This expands the expander and compresses the compressor. A network of heat exchange coils, containing a low boiling point liquid, communicates with the expander, and functions as heat absorbing evaporator. Another network of heat exchange coils communicates with the compressor chamber, and functions as a heat delivering condenser. Depending on the locations the evaporator and the condenser networks, the shoe can serve as a foot cooler or a foot warmer.

TL;DR: In this article, a tire air pressure sensor (18) is mounted on a vehicle wheel (10) and includes an inertial mass (40) which is urged radially outwardly by centrifugal force resulting from rotation of the wheel.
Abstract: A tire air pressure sensor (18) is mounted on a vehicle wheel (10) and includes an inertial mass (40) which is urged radially outwardly by centrifugal force resulting from rotation of the wheel (10). The tire air pressure is applied to the inertial mass (40) in opposition to the centrifugal force. When the rotational speed of the wheel (10) is sufficient that the centrifugal force overcomes the applied air pressure, the inertial mass (40) moves radially outwardly and opens a switch (33). The speed at which the switch (33) opens is a predetermined function of the tire pressure. In another embodiment (130), a second sensor (154, 160) is provided to sense when the tire pressure is below a minimum value. A spring (140) urges an inertial mass (138) inwardly in opposition to the centrifugal force, and the tire pressure is applied to a bellows (154) having an end (160) which moves radially outwardly in proportion to the applied pressure. The bellows (154) opens a first switch (166) when the pressure is higher than the minimum value, and the inertial mass (138) moves radially outwardly away from the end (160) of the bellows (154) to open a second switch (168) when the wheel speed exceeds the value corresponding to the tire pressure.
