TL;DR: An exhaust gas bellows expansion joint for joining a first section and a second section of an exhaust pipe is described in this article. But the expansion joint is not suitable for large diameter exhaust manifolds.
Abstract: An exhaust gas bellows expansion joint for joining a first section and a second section of an exhaust pipe. The exhaust gas bellows expansion joint including a first corrugated pipe for conveying exhaust gas through the joint, a protective sleeve, which is inserted in the first corrugated pipe, a second corrugated pipe, which coaxially surrounds the first corrugated pipe, and an annular space between the first corrugated pipe and the second corrugated pipe for the passage of liquid through the joint.

TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible joint has a bellows (10), a first support cover (20) connected with one end of the bellows, a second cover (30), and a buffer member (60) constructed of wire mesh and disposed between the first cover and the second cover in combination with the cap.
Abstract: A flexible joint has a bellows (10), a first support cover (20) connected with one end of the bellows (10), a second support cover (30) connected with another end of the bellows (10), a pin (40) fixed to the first support cover (20), a cap (50) fixed to the second support cover (30), and a buffer member (60) constructed of wire mesh and disposed between the first support cover (20) in combination with the pin (40) and the second support cover (30) in combination with the cap (50). The buffer member (60) includes two portions (61, 64, 64′) different in modulus of elasticity. Due to the structure, gap generation between the first support cover (20) combined with the pin (40) and the second support cover (30) combined with the cap (50) is prevented.

TL;DR: An apparatus for fabricating bonded substrates with fewer production defects is described in this paper, which includes a vacuum process chamber formed by an upper container and a lower container, two holding plates for holding two substrates, and a pressing mechanism for moving upper holding plate downward.
Abstract: An apparatus for fabricating bonded substrates with fewer production defects. A press machine includes a vacuum process chamber formed by an upper container and a lower container, two holding plates for holding two substrates, and a pressing mechanism for moving upper holding plate downward. The upper container is connected to the pressing mechanism via upper bellows. The lower container is connected to a positioning stage via lower bellows. The upper and lower bellows prevent deformation of the vacuum process chamber from being transmitted to the two holding plates.

TL;DR: In this article, a pressure regulating valve comprises a bellows formed in the shape of a bottomed cylinder, a valve seat disposed opposite to a bottom portion of the bellows, and a valve body retaining meter provided on the outside of the bottom portion.
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve comprises a bellows formed in the shape of a bottomed cylinder, a valve seat disposed opposite to a bottom portion of the bellows, a valve body provided on an outside of the bottom portion of the bellows so as to come in and out of contact with the valve seat due to expansion and contraction of the bellows, a valve body retaining meter provided on the outside of the bottom portion of the bellows and having an engaging portion used for the engagement with an outer peripheral wall portion of the bellows, the valve body retaining member serving to retain the valve body at the bottom portion of the bellows by being fixed to the outer periphery of the bottom portion of the bellows by means of the engaging portion, and a reinforcing member provided inside of the bottom portion of the bellows and located so as to be opposite to the engaging portion through a peripheral wall portion of the bellows.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose to pick up an object of a different optical path simultaneously by providing plural solid-state image pickup elements to the device main body so that the relative position with respect to the main body is changed.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To pick up an object of a different optical path simultaneously by providing plural solid-state image pickup elements to the device main body so that the relative position with respect to the main body is changed. CONSTITUTION:An element container 23 is fitted to the device main body 22 via a bellows 25 made of an elastic body and the relative position of the container 23 is freely changed by bending the bellows 25. An element board 27 is provided to the container 23, a solid-state image pickup element 29 is provided confronting a lens section 24, and two drive boards 31 for driving the element 29 are provided in the main body 22 and connected electrically to the relevant board 27. When an object is picked up, the object of a different optical path is simultaneously picked up and monitored by inputting the video signal outputted from the circuit 31 to the monitor.
