TL;DR: A workpiece attracting device for attracting a workpiece having a curved surface has planar first and second housings securely coupled to each other by fasteners, and a suction pad made of a synthetic resin material and having a flange sandwiched between the first-and second-housings, the bellows being elastically deformable against the curved surface of the workpiece as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A workpiece attracting device for attracting a workpiece having a curved surface has planar first and second housings securely coupled to each other by fasteners, and a suction pad made of a synthetic resin material and having a flange sandwiched between the first and second housings, and a bellows disposed in a hole defined in one of the first and second housings, the bellows being elastically deformable against the curved surface of the workpiece

TL;DR: In this paper, a vertical container has first and second spaced apart horizontal openings and is otherwise sealed, and a hollow chamber communicating with the first and the second openings is adapted to be partially filled with liquid, and the maximum level of fill is disposed below both openings.
Abstract: A vertical container has first and second spaced apart horizontal openings and is otherwise sealed The container has a hollow chamber communicating with the first and second openings The chamber is adapted to be partially filled with liquid The maximum level of fill is disposed below both openings The region between the liquid level and the openings is air filled A first device is secured and sealed to the first opening and includes a manually operable bellows disposed above the first opening The bellows has compressed and released positions A second device is secured and sealed to the second opening and includes a discharge orifice A vertical dip tube open at both ends is disposed in the container The top end of the tube is disposed adjacent the second opening The bottom end of the tube is adjacent but spaced above the botton of the container An air-liquid mixer disposed in the second opening in the region is coupled between the second means the top end of the tube The mixer, when the bellows is in compressed position, mixes air with liquid expelled from tube to produce foam which is discharged through the orifice Ambient air is drawn through the orifice into the region to replace the liquid expelled when the bellows returns from compressed position to released position

TL;DR: In this article, a pneumatic spring and a vibration damper are connected to a roll-off tube and axially-movable outer tube by fastening elements for the connection.
Abstract: Pneumatic spring, consisting of a spring bellows acting as a rolling bellows, whereby the spring bellows border a spring chamber provided with a gas charge under pressure, whereby the spring bellows are connected on one hand to a roll-off tube and on the other hand to an axially-movable outer tube, a connection to a compressed gas supply, whereby the outer tube is also actively connected to a vibration damper filled with damping medium and which has a cylinder in which a piston on the piston rod moves axially and which has a connection to an equalization chamber, whereby the unit consisting of the pneumatic spring and vibration damper contains fastening elements for the connection, whereby the roll-off tube and the cylinder form the equalization chamber, which is bordered on the end by a base of the roll-off tube.

TL;DR: In this article, a squeeze film damper assembly with variable stiffness and damping control is described, which includes a damper chamber formed by two flexible bellows chambers of the sides.
Abstract: A squeeze film damper assembly having a variable stiffness and damping control. The squeeze film damper includes a damper chamber formed by two flexible bellows chambers of the sides. A first pressure source is applied to the damper chamber to regulate the damping. A second pressure source is applied to the flexible bellows chambers to vary the stiffness of the damper. The flexible bellows chambers are secured between an outer member and an inner member of the damper assembly and form the sealed damper chamber. A pressure ratio between the bellows chambers and the damper chamber can vary to control the stiffness of the squeeze film damper.
