TL;DR: In this article, a corrugated metal bellows of the type used to control a device (such as a valve or a switch) as a function of pressure changes either on the exterior or on the interior of the bellows, or as the function of temperature.
Abstract: This invention relates to pressure sensitive mechanism, and particularly to corrugated metal bellows of the type used to control a device (such as a valve or a switch) as a function of pressure changes either on the exterior or on the interior of the bellows, or as a function of temperature...

TL;DR: A flexible tube for an exhaust pipe of an automobile includes a bellows member having corrugations thereon, an interlocking member with a predetermined gap from the bellows and having a spiral groove formed thereon to absorb deformation, a braid member positioned to surround the outside portion of the Bellows member and braided to be flexibly deformed with a large displacement with respect to a displacement and tension in a compression direction as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A flexible tube for an exhaust pipe of an automobile includes a bellows member having corrugations thereon; an interlocking member positioned in the bellows member with a predetermined gap from the bellows member and having a spiral groove formed thereon to absorb deformation; a braid member positioned to surround the outside portion of the bellows member and braided to be flexibly deformed with a large displacement with respect to a displacement and tension in a compression direction; cap members coupled for fixing the braid member on the outside of the both ends of the bellows member; and intermediate members formed in the shape of a ring and having one end fixed to the bellows member and the other end fixed to the interlocking member by overlapping the interlocking member inwards, wherein the bellows member has protrusion portions, a center part and both end parts.

TL;DR: In this paper, a three-parameter, multi-axis isolator is proposed to limit the transmission of vibrations between a mass and a base. But, the design of the damper is different from ours.
Abstract: Embodiments of a three parameter, multi-axis isolator configured to limit the transmission of vibrations between a mass and a base are provided. In one embodiment, the three parameter, multi-axis isolator includes an isolator housing configured to be mounted to the base, opposing bellows sealingly mounted within the isolator housing, and a damper piston movably suspended within the isolator housing between the opposing bellows. The damper piston is configured to be coupled to the mass. The opposing bellows deflect with movement of the damper piston along multiple axes to limit the transmission of vibrations between the mass and the base.

TL;DR: The flexible coupling assembly as discussed by the authors has a lintern with a radially outwardly extending flange and a bellows with a radial outwardly-extending flange connected together by weld joint at a predetermined location on an end surface of the lintern.
Abstract: The flexible coupling assembly has a liner with a radially outwardly extending flange and a bellows with a radially outwardly extending flange connected together by weld joint at a predetermined location on an end surface of the radially outwardly extending flanges. A connecting flange is movably maintained on the bellows between the outwardly extending flange of the bellows and a flexible portion of the bellows. The flexible coupling assembly is particularly suited for use in an exhaust system of a combustion engine.

TL;DR: In this paper, a combined inspiratory and expiratory valve for use with a lung inflating apparatus of the bellows type is described, where a movable member such as the diaphragm 11 separating an inlet 14 adapted to be connected to the balloon from an outlet 15 adapted to connect to a face mask or an endotracheal tube, and a non-return valve 19 mounted on the movable part, the arrangement being such that under the influence of a pressure wave delivered by the compressor, the member moves to cut off the outlet 15 from vent
Abstract: 748,363. Respiratory appliances. BRITISH OXYGEN CO., Ltd. Aug. 4, 1954 [Aug. 5, 1953], No. 21626/53. Class 81(2). [Also in Group XXIX] A combined inspiratory and expiratory valve for use with a lung inflating apparatus of the bellows type comprises a movable member such as the diaphragm 11 separating an inlet 14 adapted to be connected to the bellows of the lung inflating apparatus from an outlet 15 adapted to be connected to a face mask or an endotracheal tube, and a non-return valve 19 mounted on the movable member, the arrangement being such that under the influence of a pressure wave delivered by the compressor the movable member moves to cut off the outlet 15 from vent apertures 18 before the valve 19 opens to permit fluid to pass to the outlet port 15 and that between the pressure pulsations the member 11 moves to open the connection between the outlet 15 and the vent apertures and simultaneously the valve 19 is closed to prevent return flow to the inlet 14. The outlet 15 is formed by a tube 16 the lower end of which forms a seating 17 spaced a short distance from the diaphragm 11 when the latter is in the normal unflexed position. The effective area of the vent may be varied by an adjustable obturator (not shown) or the vent may be provided with a spring-loaded valve the loading of which may be fixed or manually adjustable.
