TL;DR: A pneumatic spring with an elastomeric rolling bellows that can be supplied with compressed air is attached airtightly at each of its ends to respective connection parts.
Abstract: A pneumatic spring with an elastomeric rolling bellows that can be supplied with compressed air is attached airtightly at each of its ends to respective connection parts. One connection part is designed as a rolling piston (10) on which a rolling fold of the rolling bellows is supported. The rolling piston is of hollow design and forms an additional air chamber connected to the interior of the bellows. In order to achieve increased spring stiffness of the pneumatic spring in the face of long spring travels by means of a spring volume which can be decoupled, a double-acting closing part (24) is arranged in an opening (21) in the end wall (19) of the rolling piston (10) which is assigned to the interior (25) of the bellows. The closing part (24) is connected to a compression spring (33) which is supported against the other connection part (15). Above and below the opening (21) the closing part (24) has respective valve plates (26; 27) by means of which the opening (21) can be closed off in an airtight manner.

TL;DR: In this article, a scroll compressor is used for liquid cooling of a compressor with an inlet and an outlet to exhaust heated coolant to a heat exchanger, where the scrolls have a spiral upon a plate that ends in a tip.
Abstract: Modifications of a scroll compressor provide a bellows suitable for liquid cooling and a plunger actuated seal for the scroll tips of various equipment. A bellows spans the fixed and the orbiting scrolls and hermetically seals the scroll device. Using two bellows, the present invention allows for liquid cooling of a compressor with an inlet and an outlet to exhaust heated coolant to a heat exchanger. Then the scrolls have a spiral upon a plate that ends in a tip. A seal upon the tip that abuts the fixed scroll upon a biased plunger modifies existing scroll designs to maintain the seal in contact with the fixed scroll. The modifications also provide an improved coating that seals the fixed and orbiting scrolls to each other without the use of epoxy, disassembly, and cleaning.

TL;DR: A synthetic tube gathered together in accordion or bellows pleats, intended for use as synthetic casings, and to be slid on to the feeder spindle of a sausage filling machine, is enclosed in a tubular net for transport and storage as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A synthetic tube gathered together in accordion or bellows pleats, intended for use as synthetic casings, and to be slid on to the feeder spindle of a sausage filling machine, is enclosed in a tubular net for transport and storage, which is removed at the same time as the casing tube is fitted During the operation of gathering the synthetic tube into its pleats, a disc of rigid material such as board or plastic is fitted at each end of the tube and the whole is enclosed in the tubular net When the tubular net has been opened, the gathered up casing tube can be slipped on to the meat delivery spindle from either end, all the way, without trouble

TL;DR: In this article, a dual fuel system for use with internal combustion engines comprising a manually actuated dual fluid valve which alternatively supplies gasoline to the engine's carburetor or engine intake manifold vacuum to a single-stage liquified gas to gaseous fuel converter having a liquified fuel inlet valve actuated in response to intake manifold manifold vacuum by a diaphragm of substantially the same diameter as a second diaphrastic valve needle to meter fuel flow.
Abstract: A dual fuel system for use with internal combustion engines comprising a manually actuated dual fluid valve which alternatively supplies gasoline to the engine's carburetor or engine intake manifold vacuum to a single-stage liquified gas to gaseous fuel converter having a liquified fuel inlet valve actuated in response to intake manifold vacuum by a diaphragm of substantially the same diameter as a second diaphragm which actuates a valve to a converter gaseous expansion chamber where desired gaseous pressure is maintained and is automatically reduced during cruise conditions by compression of a bellows which acts on the second diaphragm in response to reduced engine intake manifold pressure during such cruise conditions, and a pressurized gaseous fuel and air mixer having a plunger structure responsive to venturi vacuum which meters air flow and actuates a valve needle to meter fuel flow. One alternative preferred embodiment of the mixer employs a relatively large piston which travels a relatively short distance within a cylinder and meters flow of air between the lower surface of the piston and a coaxial annular surface defining a passage into which air flows between such surface and the piston together with fuel, which fuel flows into the fuel and air passage through the piston and through a fuel transfer tube that acts as a piston guide. A second alternative preferred embodiment of the mixer utilizes a smaller diameter piston which travels a relatively long distance and a substantially oval plunger which projects into a substantially rectangular air passage to meter air flow.
