15 Apr 1999TL;DR: In this article, a support member for positioning is extended to the outside through an opening of a vacuum vessel and a bellows connected to the circumference of the opening with a play such that positioning movement can be performed without being in contact with the opening and the bellows.
Abstract: Objects of the present invention are to prolong the life of a sealing portion by using bellows and to prevent the generation of dust and the effect thereof. A support member for positioning is extended to the outside through an opening of a vacuum vessel and bellows connected to the circumference of the opening with a play such that positioning movement can be performed without being in contact with the opening and the bellows, and the support member is received by roller bearings in a bulkhead portion connected to a free end of the bellows and closing the bellows of a bearing support. Necessary rotation is given to the support member from outside via inside and outside magnetic couplings facing each other on the inside and outside of the bulkhead portion, and movement in the X direction perpendicular to the axis is given to the support member from outside by moving the bearing support in the direction perpendicular to the axis with respect to the vacuum vessel. Thereby, a disk-shaped object is positioned without necessitating a sliding portion located in the vacuum vessel, thereby achieving the above objects.

TL;DR: In this article, a lower bracket 7 is axially connected via a connecting hole 21, and a lower collar 5 is watertightly connected with a lowercollar 5, disposed in chamber 26 between a frame 1 and a can 3, and the interior is connected with the hole 24.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a can without increasing the size of a motor by partitioning a chamber between a frame and the can be an elastic material, and connecting one chamber with the periphery of a rotor or out of the frame. CONSTITUTION:A lower bracket 7 is axially connected via a connecting hole 21. One side of the hole 21 is connected with a room 23 in a cylinder 22 of one end side of a thrust case 15. A lower collar 5 is axially connected with a connecting hole 21 via a connecting hole 24. Doughnut-shaped metal bellows 25 is watertightly connected with a lower collar 5, disposed in chamber 26 between a frame 1 and a can 3, and the interior is connected with the hole 24. Even if the volume of insulating oil B is large and expanded, the interior of the bellows 25 disposed in the chamber 26 is connected through the holes 21, 24, the chamber 23 and a connecting slot 11 with the periphery of a rotor 12. Accordingly, the bellows 25 can elongate or contract due to the pressure difference between the pressure of the periphery of the rotor 12 and the pressure in the chamber 26, and the pressure difference is absorbed.

TL;DR: In this article, a flexible duct, such as a bellows, arranged between the opening (5) of a door (4), intended for loading and unloading the clothes, and an associated opening (8) provided on an inner washing tub (10).
Abstract: A clothes washing machine, or a similar appliance such as a washer/dryer, includes a flexible duct, such as a bellows, arranged between the opening (5) of a door (4), intended for loading and unloading the clothes, and an associated opening (8) provided on an inner washing tub (10). Peripheral folds (16), the outer end (13) and a cylindrical band (15) of the bellows (12), are made with a material having elastomeric properties and a hardness of about Shore A 20 to 30. The inner end (15) of the bellows is made with a synthetic material having a hardness of about Shore A 40 to 50. The machine is low noise. A greater unbalanced load of clothes can be tolerated since the improved bellows minimize the vibrations, generated by the inner washing tub when the machine is operated, which are transmitted to the outer cabinet of the machine. The bellows have a low manufacturing cost and are interchangeable with those of conventional construction, namely those entirely made with a material of the same hardness (Shore A 33-35 or above).

TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible conduit element for an exhaust system of a combustion engine vehicle is described, consisting of a helically or annularly corrugated metal bellows member, an outer flexible member disposed around the bellows and a resilient member.
Abstract: The present invention refers to a flexible conduit element (1) for an exhaust system of a combustion engine vehicle, comprising a helically or annularly corrugated metal bellows member (2), an outer flexible member (4) disposed around the bellows member (2) and the resilient member (5) biasing the flexible outer member (4) towards the metal bellows member (2). In order to improve the absorption of vibrations of a combustion engine, the outer flexible member (4) comprises a reticulated structure.

TL;DR: In this article, a blow mold for the production of bellows of the type made of a highly elastic plastic was constructed from individual level-parallel disks which formed the level of the outer apexes of two adjacent folds and where the slot served to vent air.
Abstract: A blow mold for the production of bellows of the type made of a highly elastic plastic. The blow mold is constructed from individual level-parallel disks which form the level of the outer apexes of two adjacent folds and by forming a slot from each pair of adjacent disks which ends at the outer apex and wherein the slot serves to vent air.
