TL;DR: A collapsible shopping bag has four sides and a square bottom when opened out from a flattened state as mentioned in this paper, and it is formed by two layers of flexible and heat-sealing plastics foil with an intermediate stiffening sheet of Kraft paper inserted between such layers extending continuously across the bottom and along two opposite bag sides.
Abstract: A collapsible shopping bag having four sides and a square bottom when opened out from a flattened state. It is formed by two layers of flexible and heat-sealing plastics foil with an intermediate stiffening sheet of Kraft paper inserted between such layers extending continuously across the bottom and along two opposite bag sides. The bag in flattened state has two sideforming walls connected by a transverse bellows fold to form the square bottom and the mating longitudinal edges of the walls and the ends of the bellows fold are closed by heat sealing of the plastic foil layers.

TL;DR: A transducer sensing element isolation assembly including a pressure housing having a chamber in which the sensing element is disposed, which sensing element communicates with the interior of a bellows through a sealing element disposed between the pressure housing and a base on which the bellows is secured as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A transducer sensing element isolation assembly including a pressure housing having a chamber in which the sensing element is disposed, which sensing element communicates with the interior of a bellows through a sealing element disposed between the pressure housing and a base on which the bellows is secured. The chamber, bellows interior and sealing element are filled with a dead volume of low compressibility, low thermal expansion isolation fluid. The bellows is contained in a replaceable bellows capsule which is threaded into a bellows capsule cavity into which the chamber communicates, and the sealing element is maintained in place by the capsule being made up into the cavity.

Abstract: In a robot for conveying a workpiece or the like 21 in vacuum chambers (16, 24); a conveyance robot for use in a high vacuum, in which magnetic floatation and magnetic drive are applied to a rectilinear movement axis (R-axis) (1, 20) for conveying the workpiece 21, a magnetic seal 9 for shutting off a vacuum side A from an atmospheric air side B is applied to a rotation axis (θ-axis) 25 for rotating the R-axis (1, 20), and a vacuum bellows 14 for shutting off the vacuum side A from the atmospheric air side B is applied to a vertical movement axis (Z-axis) 17 for vertically moving the R-axis (1, 20) and the θ-axis 25, whereby sliding or rolling is avoided in the vacuum.

TL;DR: Water temperature sensors in the form of thermisters are in physical thermal contact with the inlet and outlet pipes of a water heater and may be surrounded by insulating material to make them more insensitive to the ambient air temperature and more sensitive to the temperature of the respective water pipes and the water contained therein this paper.
Abstract: Water temperature sensors in the form of thermisters are in physical thermal contact with the inlet and outlet pipes of a water heater and may be surrounded by insulating material to make them more insensitive to the ambient air temperature and more sensitive to the temperature of the respective water pipes and the water contained therein These two thermisters are connected in a bridge circuit connected to an operational amplifier whose output will be of a given polarity only if the measured temperature difference exceeds a predetermined value The operational amplifier's output is then used to adjust the effective thermostatic setting of the hot water heater in a two-valued control arrangement Alternatively, each of the two water temperature sensors may assume a purely mechanical form, such as an enclosed volume of fluid or plastic material operating a bellows or piston arrangement, so that at higher temperatures the volume increases and the bellows or piston moves in one direction while at lower temperatures, the volume decreases, and the bellows or piston moves in an opposite direction If two such mechanical sensor arrangements are connected to work in opposition to one another through appropriate spring linkages, the resultant mechanical movement is proportional to the difference in sensor temperatures and adjusts the thermostat setting of the heater in a proportional form of control
