Abstract: The invention relates to sulfonyl hydrazone derivatives containing an 8-ethoxy-3-nitro-2H-benzopyran structure and a preparation method and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of chemistry. The general structural formula of the compounds (I) is described in the specification. In the formula, R1 is an aryl or substituted aryl group with 6 to 10 carbon atoms or a heteroaryl or substituted heteroaryl group with 5 to 10 carbon atoms, independently, and R2 is H, a methyl group or an ethyl group, independently. According to combination principles in drug designing, two drug effect groups--sulfonyl hydrazone and benzopyran are combined together to synthesize a series of the sulfonyl hydrazone derivatives containing the 8-ethoxy-3-nitro-2H-benzopyran structure, and antineoplastic activity of the derivatives are researched. Experiment results show that the compounds provided by the invention have good antiproliferative activity, so the compounds are applicable to preparation of drugs used for treating cancers.

Abstract: In the title compound, C27H24N2O3, the pyrroldine ring adopts a twist conformation, while the six-membered pyran­one ring of the coumarin ring system is in a sofa conformation. In the crystal, pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules into inversion R22(8) dimers. These dimers are further connected via C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
