Abstract: The present invention provides (i) 6-amino-2,2-dimethyl-3,4,6-trisubstituted benzopyran derivatives; (ii) a process for synthesizing benzopyran derivatives with high efficiency by parallel synthesis on a solid-phase as one of combinatorial chemical synthesis technologies; and (iii) a use of the benzopyran derivatives for preventing and treating diseases or disorders induced by promotion of lipid peroxidation or accumulation of oxidized products.

Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method of a benzopyran compound and application of protecting against pulmonary fibrosis. The structural formula of the benzopyran compound refers to the Specification, wherein R1 is one selected from H, C1-C4 alkyl and residual groups of various amino acids after removing amino parts, R2 is one selected from H, C1-C4 alkyl and residual groups of various amino acids after removing amino parts, R3 is one selected from H abd C1-C4 alkyl and residual groups of various amino acids after removing amino parts, and n is any integer of 1-4. The benzopyran compound is obtained from a fermentation liquid of Streptomyces xiamenensis (CGMCC No.5675) by extraction, separation and purification. The Streptomyces xiamenensis extract derivative disclosed by the invention has higher property of inhibiting the proliferation and activity of health human lung fibroblasts, and can be used for preparing anti-pulmonary fibrosis drugs.

Abstract: The very reactive α-oxo-thioketone derivatives 2a - d, generated via thermolysis of spirobenzopyran-3',2-[1,3,4]oxadithiino[5,6-c]benzopyran-4'-ones 1a - d, reacted with 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene and 1,3-cyclohexadiene under [4+2]-cycloaddition to afford spirobenzopyran-3',6-thiapyran-4'-one adducts 3a-d and spirobenzopyran-3',3-thiabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-5-en-4'-one adducts 4a-d, respectively. On the other hand, the reaction of α-oxo-thioketones 2a-d with isoprene afforded regioselectively only 3-methyl-thiapyran derivatives 5a-d. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies of 4b, 4c, and 5a give a good support for the established structure.

Abstract: Hydantoin derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein Ra and Rb are same or different, each being hydrogen atom, alkanoyl, substituted or none-substituted aroyl, heteroaroyl, alkoxycarbonyl, substituted or none-substituted aralkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, N-alkylcarbamoyl, N,N-dialkylcarbamoyl, substituted or none-substituted N-aralkylcarbamoyl, alkoxyalkyl, 1-(acyloxy)-alkyl, alkylmercapto, substituted or none-substituted arylmercapto, alkylsulfinyl, substituted or none-substituted arylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl or substituted or none-substituted arylsulfonyl, but both of Ra and Rb do not concurrently mean hydrogen atom, a process for the preparation of the derivatives, and use thereof as an agent for preventing and curing chronic complications due to diabetes.
