TL;DR: In this article, the formylated 4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl 5-thio-beta-D-xylopyranoside derivative of formula (I) and its solvates and hydrates are new.
Abstract: 4-Methyl-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl 2,3,4-tri-O-formyl-5-thio-beta-D-xylopyranoside (I) is new. The formylated 4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl 5-thio-beta-D-xylopyranoside derivative of formula (I) and its solvates and hydrates are new. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of (I).

TL;DR: A general stereoselective method for the synthesis of 4-deoxynovobiocin-related glycosides is described in this article, where 3-Benzoylamino-2 H -1-benzopyran-7-yl 2,3,4,6-tetra-O -acetyl-d -glycopyranosides of glucose, galactose and mannose were synthesised from appropriate O -glycosyltrichloroacetimidates and N -(7-hydroxy-2-
Abstract: A general stereoselective method for the synthesis of 4-deoxynovobiocin-related glycosides is described. 3-Benzoylamino-2 H -1-benzopyran-7-yl 2,3,4,6-tetra- O -acetyl- d -glycopyranosides of glucose, galactose and mannose were synthesised from appropriate O -glycosyltrichloroacetimidates and N -(7-hydroxy-2-oxo-2 H -1-benzopyran-3-yl)benzamides in boiling methylene chloride in the presence of boron trifluoride etherate. Heating of these products in a mixture of triethylamine and methanol gave the corresponding deprotected 3-benzoylamino-2-oxo-2 H -1-benzopyran-7-yl β- d -glycopyranosides.

TL;DR: A polymorphic form of trans (3S, 4R)-3,4-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-4-(2-oxopiperidin-1-yl)-6-pentafluoroethyl-2H-1benzopyran-3-ol is defined in this paper.
Abstract: A polymorphic form ('Polymorphic Form (I)') of trans (3S, 4R)-3,4-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-4-(2-oxopiperidin-1-yl)-6-pentafluoroethyl-2H-1-benzopyran-3-ol ('Compound I'), characterised by: (i) an infrared spectrum comprising bands at 3436, 1619 and 1587 cm ; and/or (ii) a melting point above 148 DEG C; a process for preparing such a compound, a pharmaceutical composition containing such a compound and the use of such a compound and composition in medicine.
