TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method by which a function generator for an integer order Bessel function of the first kind could be constructed, by making use o f a defining integral for these functions which involves the common trigonometric functions.

TL;DR: In this article, a device for the operation of correlation at microwave frequencies (L-band) was described, where two transmission mode yttrium-iron-garnet delay lines were magnetically biased for magnetoelastic wave propagation.
Abstract: A device is described which performs the operation of correlation at microwave frequencies (L-band). Signal delay is provided by two transmission mode yttrium-iron-garnet delay lines magnetically biased for magnetoelastic wave propagation. Variation of delay is effected by electronically changing the magnetic bias on each delay line. Because group and phase delay are different functions of applied magnetic field, the autocorrelation function obtained for band-limited signals exhibits a sidelobe structure dependent on group delay variation and a fine structure which depends on phase delay variation. Calculations and experimental results are given for a sinusoidally frequency-modulated signal of large modulation index. This signal has a power spectrum with sharply defined frequency limits, easily variable bandwidth, and provides an autocorrelation function with a zero-order Bessel function amplitude variation.

TL;DR: The Bessel filter as discussed by the authors is an n-pole recursive digital filter, which is expressed as a ratio between (a) an (n−1) order polynomial of a complex number and (b) an n order polylogarithmic of the complex number, where n is a positive integer.
Abstract: A system for correcting infrared (IR) radiances includes an imager for receiving IR radiances and outputting intensity data corresponding to pixels in the imager. Also included is a stray light estimator for receiving the intensity data and estimating stray light in the intensity data. The stray light estimator includes a Bessel filter for low pass filtering the estimated stray light and providing corrected intensity data as an output to a user. The Bessel filter is an n-pole recursive digital filter, which is expressed as a ratio between (a) an (n−1) order polynomial of a complex number and (b) an n order polynomial of a complex number, where n is a positive integer. The Bessel filter includes an infinite response curve, in which the response curve monotonically decreases in amplitude as a function of frequency per pixels.

TL;DR: In this article, a 4th-order low-pass continuous-time Diode-RC filter with 24-MHz cut-off frequency is presented, which is based on the combination of positive (passive) and negative (using cross-coupled MOS transistors) cells to synthesize complex conjugate-poles pairs.
Abstract: This paper presents a 4th-order low-pass continuous-time Diode-RC filter with 24 MHz cut-off frequency. The filter structure is based on the combination of positive (passive) and negative (using cross-coupled MOS transistors) cells to synthesize complex-conjugate-poles pairs. Moreover, the filter is designed and optimized to have high-linearity along all the filter pass-band. The filter exhibits 16 dBm-$$\text {IIP}_3$$ with 2–3 MHz input tones and 5 dBm-$$\text {IIP}_3$$ with 23–24 MHz, whereas the current consumption remains limited to $$100 \, \upmu \hbox {A}$$ from 1.8 V supply voltage.
