TL;DR: In this article, the cross-product of Bessel functions and their first derivatives of their derivatives is calculated with a global convergent behavior for a large range of values of the argument and of the order of the Bessel function.
Abstract: This paper shows the construction of an algorithm to calculate the roots of both, the cross-product of Bessel functions respectively of their first derivatives. The algorithm has shown globally convergent behavior for a large range of values of the argument and of the order of the Bessel functions with the desired accuracy to machine precision.

TL;DR: In this article, a Duobinary precoder and a duobinary decoder were designed in a cost-effective 0.18-µm CMOS technology fed with 1.8 V, consuming 27.9 mW in total.
Abstract: This work presents a novel CMOS transceiver that enables 50-m 1-mm step-index plastic optical fiber (SI-POF) to increase transmitted data rate up to 3.125 Gbps using amplitude duobinary modulation, in addition to continuous-time equalization. For that purpose, a duobinary precoder and a duobinary decoder have been designed in a cost-effective 0.18-µm CMOS technology fed with 1.8 V, consuming 27.9 mW in total. Additionally, a new model based on low-pass Bessel filter has been proposed to simulate the effect of the equalized channel, achieving excellent agreement with experimental data. Post-layout results validate the advantages of the proposed transceiver.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors divide the quadrature of dual Bessel integration into [0,λ 0] and [λ 0,∞] and present an efficient algorithm to compute the Bessel function.
Abstract: Due to strong oscillation and slow decay of product term in dual Bessel integration,it is difficult to use ordinary numerical method for the quadrature of dual Bessel. In this paper we divide [0,∞) into [0,λ 0] and [λ 0,∞);In [λ 0,∞),the integration can be written as Fourier cosine and sine transformation by asymptotic expression of Hankel Function and it can be evaluated by fast algorthm. In [0,λ 0],the integration can be computed accurately through direct quadrature. But when we calculate a quantity the related dual Bessel integration with common argument, the algorithm mentioned above seem not to be efficient enough. In this case, according to derivative relation of Bessel function, the constant transformation of the integration in [0,λ 0] can be done and the changed into the integration of the Bessel function itself which can only be calculated only once. This algorithm has improved efficiency of calculation obviously for dual Bessel integration.
