TL;DR: In this article, a new formula for the product of the zeros of a Bessel function of the first kind of positive order, or the zero of its nth derivative, where the value of n does not exceed the order of Bessel functions, is presented.

TL;DR: The pole extraction and regularization of singular Hankel series is performed, for integer Gaussian power-law densities as well as for the special case of Kummer averages and the singular @e residuals are used to derive combinatorial identities for the rational Hankel coefficients, which serve as consistency checks in precision calculations of the integrals.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel optical duobinary (ODB) downlink access scheme using low pass filter was proposed, which has the advantages of high bandwidth efficiency, resistance to dispersion and good reception performance.
Abstract: In this letter, a novel optical duobinary (ODB) downlink access scheme using low pass filter was proposed. The ODB downlink signal was generated by one continuous-wave (CW) laser, one pseudo-random binary sequence (PRBS) generator, one NRZ generator, one precoder, one Mach-Zehnder modulator and one low pass Bessel filter. The downlink signal can be transmitted over 20km singlemode fiber (SMF) and successfully received. We analyzed the time-domain waveforms, optical spectrum and eye diagrams before and after downstream transmission. The simulation results show that, compared to the traditional downlink scheme, this scheme has the advantages of high bandwidth efficiency, resistance to dispersion and good reception performance.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give explicit expressions for the attenuation and phase characteristics of generalized linear phase polynomials (i.e., Jacobi and Bessel polynomial) for transmission line and lumped filters respectively.
Abstract: In this paper, we give explicit expressions for the study of attenuation and phase characteristics of generalized linear phase polynomials (i.e. Jacobi and generalized Bessel polynomials for transmission line and lumped filters respectively). We present an exact method to find the digital transfer function which exhibits [n/2] to (n−1) simultaneous conditions on amplitude and delay.

01 Jan 2016TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model is used to shape the control algorithm for the dryer and a linear model is prepared for the linear model for the control process, which is shown that the controller is able to control the process in about 50 minutes.
Abstract: Husk rice must be dry before any treatment in industrial processes. For food industries, to preserve the quality of materials, the temperature must remain in a specific domain. So, in this paper, control of the moisture content and temperature of the grains are studied. To this end, a mathematical model is used to shape the control algorithm. In addition, the linear model is prepared for the control process. High-passed Bessel filter, low-passed Butterworth filter, and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controllers are designed and compared to find the best control gain matrix for the dryer. Using a comprehensive simulation routine, the stated control methods are used to control the final moisture content and the temperature of husk rice grains. It is shown that the controller is able to control the process in about 50 minutes.
