TL;DR: In this article, a nonsymmetric analogue of a Gram matrix is used to represent the infinite companion matrix introduced by the author in [4] as a projection operator in H2, which consists in constructing, for a given set 0,…,fn−1 of linearly independent vectors, another set g0,gn−1 which lies in a given space and satisfies (fi,gk)=δik.

TL;DR: A decision statistic in the case of cross term deleted Wigner representation (CDWR) is derived and used to detect/classify signals present in underwater acoustic data and it is shown that the performance of the cross CDWR based detection method is better than theperformance of the auto CDWR.
Abstract: A decision statistic in the case of cross term deleted Wigner representation (CDWR) is derived in this paper. This statistic is then used to detect/classify signals present in underwater acoustic data. Using the output signal-to-noise ratio as a performance measure, we show in this paper that the performance of the cross CDWR based detection method is better than the performance of the auto CDWR. In addition, we show that the performance in the case of cross CDWR is similar to the performance of the classical cross-correlator when the biorthogonal analysis window satisfies minimum energy condition. Experimental results are provided to illustrate our theoretical deductions.

TL;DR: Performance analysis of image steganography based on 2 level and 4 level DWT associated to colored images is done for selecting better wavelet for application by analyzing Peak Signal Noise Ratio(PSNR) of different wavelet families like Haar, Daubechies, Biorthogonal, Reverse Biorstogonal & Meyer wavelet(dmey) on result oriented basis using Matlab environment.
Abstract: Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one, excluding the sender and deliberated recipient, suspects the message existence , a form of security through obscurity. Steganography techniques can be utilized to images, a video file or an audio file. Typically, steganography is written in characters including hash marking, but its usage within images is also usual. At any rate, steganography secures from pirating copyrighted materials as well as aiding in unauthorized viewing. In this paper, performance analysis of image steganography based on 2 level and 4 level DWT associated to colored images is done. Performance analysis of steganography is done for selecting better wavelet for application by analyzing Peak Signal Noise Ratio(PSNR) of different wavelet families like Haar, Daubechies, Biorthogonal, Reverse Biorthogonal & Meyer wavelet(dmey) on result oriented basis using Matlab environment.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors classify the closed simply-connected 4-manifolds that admit a Riemannian metric for which the average of pairs of sectional curvatures of orthogonal planes are positive.
Abstract: We classify, up to homeomorphisms, the closed simply-connected 4-manifolds that admit a Riemannian metric for which averages of pairs of sectional curvatures of orthogonal planes are positive.
