TL;DR: In this article, a strategy for enantioselective separations of α-amino acid derivatives in cyclodextrin (CD)-modified capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) is presented and the effects of various experimental parameters such as temperature, pH, applied voltage and the use of organic modifiers (methanol, tert.-butyl methyl ether, carnitin) have been studied in detail.

••
TL;DR: A capillary electrophoresis method with reversed polarity, combining both the application of a voltage and a pressure gradient between the buffer vials, was developed for the analysis of eight heparin-derived delta-disaccharides obtained by enzymatic depolymerization.

••
TL;DR: The microfluidic paper-based analytical devices permitted the determination of Ca(2+) and Mg( 2+) in mineral water, river water, and seawater samples within only a few minutes using only the naked eye-no need of instruments.

••
TL;DR: The kinetic profile showed that the drug release was a co-effect behavior, involving dissolution of inorganic material and ion exchange between the intercalated anions in the lamella and those of phosphate in the buffer solution, and the nanocomposite coated protection with XG was efficient in obtaining a slow release of Enal.

••
TL;DR: Results suggest that glycyrrhizic acid has potential applications as a biosurfactant in various fields and the surface tension of aqueous solutions decreased gradually at pH 7, but the critical point was not observed in the curve.
