TL;DR: Kim and Mauborgne as mentioned in this paper introduce three tools that managers can use to help strip away some of the uncertainty in evaluating the commercial potential of new business ideas. But applying these tools is not the end of the story.
Abstract: Identifying which business ideas have real commercial potential is fraught with uncertainty, and even the most admired companies have stumbled. It's not as if they don't know what the challenges of innovation are. A new product has to offer customers exceptional utility at an attractive price, and the company must be able to deliver it at a tidy profit. But the uncertainties surrounding innovation are so great that even the most insightful managers have a hard time evaluating the commercial readiness of new business ideas. In this article, W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne introduce three tools that managers can use to help strip away some of that uncertainty. The first tool, "the buyer utility map," indicates how likely it is that customers will be attracted to a new business idea. The second, "the price corridor of the mass," identifies what price will unlock the greatest number of customers. And the third tool, "the business model guide," offers a framework for figuring out whether and how a company can profitably deliver the new idea at the targeted price. Applying the tools, though, is not the end of the story. Many innovations have to overcome adoption hurdles--strong resistance from stakeholders inside and outside the company. Often overlooked in the planning process, adoption hurdles can make or break the commercial viability of even the most powerful new ideas. The authors conclude by discussing how managers can head off negative reactions from stakeholders.

TL;DR: This paper sheds light on the role of QoE by means of a common framework that covers the whole communications ecosystem and a research agenda for a holistic ecosystem analysis is outlined.
Abstract: Communications ecosystem covers a huge area from technical issues to business models and human behaviour. Due to this extreme diversity various societies need to discuss with each other, each of them using their own language. Engineers talk about network performance and quality of service, business people talk about average revenue per user and customer churn while behavioural scientists talk about happiness and experiences. Thus, everyone who wants to understand, or even analyze, the whole ecosystem, has to deal with all these diverse issues. In addition to the apparent communication problems, the main challenges of ecosystem analysis are to realistically model human behaviour, and to efficiently combine the models developed for different domains. A central concept when solving these problems is quality of experience (QoE). This paper sheds light on the role of QoE by means of a common framework that covers the whole communications ecosystem. Additionally, a research agenda for a holistic ecosystem analysis is outlined.

TL;DR: An IoT E-business model is proposed, which is specially designed for the IoTE-business, which redesign many elements in traditional E- business models; and the transaction of smart property and paid data on the IoT with the help of P2P trade based on the Blockchain and smart contract is realized.
Abstract: Nowadays, the development of traditional business models become more and more mature that people use them to guide various kinds of E-business activities. Internet of things(IoT), being an innovative revolution over the Internet, becomes a new platform for E-business. However, old business models could hardly fit for the E-business on the IoT. In this article, we 1) propose an IoT E-business model, which is specially designed for the IoT E-business; 2) redesign many elements in traditional E-business models; 3) realize the transaction of smart property and paid data on the IoT with the help of P2P trade based on the Blockchain and smart contract. We also experiment our design and make a comprehensive discuss.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify the challenges facing accounting education in providing students with the knowledge and skills that raise their competency level to meet that required by the market and present a strategic plan for closing the gap between the acquired and required skills to help prepare students for facing and dealing with the challenges of the new global business environment.
Abstract: The rapid spread and acceptance of globalization and the enormous developments in information technology, has led to dramatic changes in the business environment. These changes have brought new challenges not only to business but also to business education. Business schools that prepare future managers in different disciplines are responsible for closing the gap between the skills acquired by its graduates and the required skills by the global markets. This paper identifies the challenges facing accounting education in providing students with the knowledge and skills that raise their competency level to meet that required by the market. These challenges warrant that the competency level of accountants should be improved. Current accounting education and the skill levels of accountants are not in line with what is required in the dynamic environments of global business. A strategic plan for closing the gap between the acquired and required skills is presented to help prepare students for facing and dealing with the challenges of the new global business environment.
