Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground consolidation method by which decontamination work can be quickly performed without re-diffusing radioactive substances.SOLUTION: There is provided a ground consolidation method for consolidating the ground by feeding 100 pts.mass of solidification material containing blast furnace slag and calcium aluminates, adding 70-300 pts.mass of water in the middle thereof to form solidification material slurry, and spraying the solidification material slurry onto the ground. It is preferable that a used amount of the calcium aluminates is 10-100 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the blast furnace slag. The solidification material may contain fiber. It is preferable that the length of the fiber is 3-10 mm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mixing and preparing quick-setting spray concrete of high strength and free of degradation in long-term strength by using a quick setting material with which high strength development can be anticipated in construction of a large cross section tunnel. SOLUTION: The method for mixing the quick setting spray cement concrete comprises mixing the quick setting material containing 40 to 60wt% calcium aluminates, 60 to 40wt% sulfate, and powdery alkali metal aluminate of ≤10 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. in total of the calcium aluminates and the sulfate and the cement concrete prepared by mixing cement and water. Abstract: When 3CaO.Al2O3.6H2O (i.e. C3AH6) was placed in contact with a solution of Ca(OH)2 labeled with Ca45 and maintained at 25 °C, there was very little change in either the activity or composition of the liquid. These observations, when taken together, indicate that the compound is probably stable in the system used. On the other hand, when either C3AH6 or 3CaO.Al2O3.CaSO4.12H2O (i.e. C3AΣH12) was added to a mixed Ca(OH)2–CaSO4 solution, the composition of the liquid varied in a manner consistent with the formation of 3CaO.Al2O3. 3CaSO4.31H2O (i.e. C3AΣ3H31). The activity also changed markedly, and a detailed consideration of the relations between activity and composition enabled the reaction mechanisms to be determined. In further experiments, the reactions of C3AH6 and C3AΣH12 to form C3AΣ3H31 were shown to proceed also at 70° and 90 °C. The consistently greater ultimate stability of C3AΣ3H31 over C3AΣH12 between 25° and 90 °C is to be contrasted with the fact, observed in the course of preparing the C3AΣH1...

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement setting accelerator from which an aluminum ion and a sulfate ion are not eluted, which is friendly to environment, where superior aggregation properties are acquired and which has excellent initial strength development, a spraying material using the same and a spraying method.SOLUTION: (1) A cement setting accelerator contains a polysilica iron. (2) The cement setting accelerator is (1) having a molar ratio SiO/Fe of the polysilica iron of 0.2-3.0. (3) A spraying material includes cement and the cement setting accelerator of (1) or (2). (4) The spraying material is (3) containing calcium aluminates additionally. (5) A spraying method is characterized by using the spraying material of (3) or (4).
