TL;DR: In this paper, a structural lightweight high strength concrete (SLWHSC) made with and without mineral admixtures is presented, where basaltic-pumice (scoria) was used as lightweight aggregate.

TL;DR: Non-aged cements showed higher cell proliferation than aged cements, probably favoured by the presence of Si-OH gel and the early formation of apatite nano-spherulites, while the alpha-TCP doped cement aged for 28 days displayed the highest bioactivity and cell proliferation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of aggregate type on the physical and mechanical properties of hardened self-consolidating concrete produced with lightweight aggregate (SCLC) were investigated, and the results showed that SCLC with LWA in lower unit weight has lower mechanical and physical properties except for thermal properties when compared to properties of SCC.

TL;DR: In this article, the results of a series of normal Proctor compaction tests, methylene blue tests, California bearing ratio tests and undrained direct shear tests performed on Sidi-Hadjres expansive overconsolidated clay treated with mixture of various cement and lime contents and compacted under the optimum Proctor conditions.
