TL;DR: The breeding systems and P/O ratios of five species of Cestrum (Solanaceae) of a cloud forest in Venezuela were studied, finding that the five species are xenogamous due to self-incompatibility mechanisms, with high P/ O ratios associated to this reproductive system.
Abstract: The breeding systems and P/O ratios of five species of Cestrum (Solanaceae) of a cloud forest in Venezuela were studied. The five species are xenogamous due to self-incompatibility mechanisms, with high P/O ratios associated to this reproductive system. The differences in the P/O ratios could be responses to the pollinators efficiency.
