TL;DR: In this article, an image and data display method includes the steps of determining a display condition having display and non-display of relative data on the basis of a previously determined user identifier and utilization condition.
Abstract: An image and data display method includes the steps of: determining a display condition (18) having display and non-display of relative data on the basis of a previously determined user identifier and utilization condition (17); displaying a picture and a character string indicative of contents of a least one relative data determined to be able to be displayed in the previous step on the basis of the display condition together with the image during display of a specific scene; displaying, when at least one of pictures and character strings is selected, relative data corresponding to the selected picture and character string on the basis of the display condition; and displaying, when a command for displaying a list is inputted, a list of picture and character strings displayed until now and, when at least one in the list is selected, displaying relative data corresponding to the selected picture and character string on the basis of the display condition.

TL;DR: It appears that the tool helped the supported group keep more focused on the core issues in the emerging design, to waste less time on less important topics, and to capture what was said as they went.
Abstract: This study reports how the introduction of a simple collaborative tool changed the way groups of people did an interesting problem solving task, the design of an automatic post office. The designs produced by the groups supported with this tool were of higher quality than those who worked with conventional whiteboard and paper and pencil. They liked the process a little less, probably because it was a new tool. But, more surprising was the fact that those supported with the tool did less extensive exploration of the design space. Our expectation was just the opposite. It appears that the tool helped the supported group keep more focused on the core issues in the emerging design, to waste less time on less important topics, and to capture what was said as they went.

TL;DR: This paper aims to establish lexical baselines for this task by applying supervised classification methods using a recently released dataset annotated for this purpose, and obtains results of 78% accuracy in identifying posts across three classes.
Abstract: In this paper we examine methods to detect hate speech in social media, while distinguishing this from general profanity. We aim to establish lexical baselines for this task by applying supervised classification methods using a recently released dataset annotated for this purpose. As features, our system uses character n-grams, word n-grams and word skip-grams. We obtain results of 78% accuracy in identifying posts across three classes. Results demonstrate that the main challenge lies in discriminating profanity and hate speech from each other. A number of directions for future work are discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, a character string input system includes an input storage portion for temporarily storing input character string with an incomplete input indicative signs, and a supplementing candidature storage portion temporarily stores candidate character strings for the incomplete word supplementing portion and the neglected word supplementING portion.
Abstract: A character string input system includes an input storage portion for temporarily storing input character string with an incomplete input indicative signs. There is also a word dictionary storing words. An incomplete word supplementing portion compares the character string with the word stored in the word dictionary. Also, there is a neglected word supplementing portion for predicting a word to be supplemented at the position of the incomplete input indicative sign representing an omitted word. A supplementing candidature storage portion temporarily stores candidate character strings for the incomplete word supplementing portion and the neglected word supplementing portion. A supplementing control portion controls the incomplete word supplementing portion and the neglected word supplementing portion on the basis of the incomplete input indicative sign, and retrieves the candidate character string corresponding to the position of the incomplete input indicative sign in the character string.
