TL;DR: The observation of the circular ac Hall effect where the current is solely driven by the crossed ac electric and magnetic fields of circularly polarized radiation is reported.
Abstract: We report the observation of the circular ac Hall effect where the current is solely driven by the crossed ac electric and magnetic fields of circularly polarized radiation. Illuminating an unbiased monolayer sheet of graphene with circularly polarized terahertz radiation at room temperature generates--under oblique incidence--an electric current perpendicular to the plane of incidence, whose sign is reversed by switching the radiation helicity. Alike the classical dc Hall effect, the voltage is caused by crossed E and B fields which are, however rotating with the light's frequency.

TL;DR: It is predicted theoretically and registered experimentally that the speckle pattern or a laser beam transmitted through a multimode fiber undergoes an angular shirt from the switching or the chirality or the polarization.
Abstract: It is predicted theoretically and registered experimentally that the speckle pattern of a laser beam transmitted through a multimode fiber undergoes an angular shift from the switching of the chirality of the polarization. The effect may be considered as the result of the spin-orbit interaction for the photon in the inhomogeneous medium.

TL;DR: The second-harmonic-generation (SHG) efficiency from a monolayer of oriented chiral molecules has a strong dependence upon the handedness of the circularly polarized excitation beam, which allows the study of chiral surfaces.
Abstract: The second-harmonic-generation (SHG) efficiency from a monolayer of oriented chiral molecules (R- or S-2,2'-dihydroxyl-1,1'binaphthyl) has a strong dependence upon the handedness of the circularly polarized excitation beam. The SHG circular-dichroism (CD) effect is much larger than in ordinary CD spectroscopy because SHG-CD is electric dipole allowed. The technique allows the study of chiral surfaces. The preference for left or right circularly polarized light is dependent on both the chirality (R or S) and the absolute orientation of the molecules (pointed up or down).

TL;DR: In this paper, a single-feed low-profile and easy to fabricate circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna has been developed for GPS applications, where four slots are etched near edges of the patch and a crossed slot etched in the center for generating circular polarization.
Abstract: A single-feed low-profile and easy to fabricate circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna has been developed for GPS applications. For dual frequency operation, four slots are etched near edges of the patch and a crossed slot etched in the center for generating circular polarization. In order to reducing the frequency ratio of two frequency bands of the antenna, the patch is loaded by four short circuit microstrip stubs. The paper reports several simulation results that confirm the desired characteristics of the antenna. Using stub loading, the frequency ratio of two bands of the antenna can be, even, reduced to 1.1.
