TL;DR: Some thiazolylazo-and pyridylazobenzoic acids were studied for the metallochromic indicator in EDTA titration of nickel as mentioned in this paper, and the formation constants of the nickel chelates with these reagents and the rate of the substitution reaction of nickel-TAMSMB chelate with EDTA were determined.
Abstract: Some thiazolylazo- and pyridylazobenzoic acids were studied for the metallochromic indicator in EDTA titration of nickel:2-(2-thiazolylazo)-4-methyl-5-(sulfomethylamino)benzoic acid(TAMSMB), 2-(5-bromo-2-thiazolylazo)-4-methyl-5-(sulfomethylamino)benzoic acid (5-Br-TAMSMB), 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-(N-ethyl-N-sulfomethylamino)benzoic acid(N-Et-TASMB) and 2-(3, 5-dichloro-2-pyridylazo)-4-methyl-5-(sulfopropylamino)benzoic acid(3, 5-diCl-PAMSPB). The formation constants of the nickel chelates with these reagents and the rate of the substitution reaction of nickel-TAMSMB chelate with EDTA were determined. TAMSMB is an excellent indicator for nickel because of the good color contrast between indicator and the nickel chelate, the large rate of color change reaction at equivalence point and the easy preparation of the reagent.

TL;DR: The thermal stability of the coloured open form of 5-methoxy-(7) and 5-piperidinomethyl-1,3,3-rimethylspiro(indoline-2,3′-[3H]naphtho[2,1-b][1,4]oxazine)(6) is strongly dependent on pH as discussed by the authors.

TL;DR: Ibuprofen reacts with α-naphthylamine and sodium nitrite to give orange color having maximum absorbance at 460 nm as mentioned in this paper, which is specific for IbUprofen and provides a basis for its spectrophotomertic determination.
Abstract: Ibuprofen reacts with α – naphthylamine and sodium nitrite to give orange color having maximum absorbance at 460 nm. The reaction is specific for Ibuprofen and provides a basis for its spectrophotomertic determination. The color reaction obeys Beer’s law from 0.1 mg to 10 mg/10 ml of Ibuprofen. The relative standard deviation is 1.25%. The quantitative assessments of tolerable amount of other drugs have also been studied.

TL;DR: In this paper, a color reaction was developed for Spectrophotometric determination of manganese in minute quantities and the maximum tolerable limit of other cations and anions was reported.
Abstract: Manganese solution in sodium hydroxide when mixed with brucine followed by HCl produces pink color having 1μg/ml as visual limit of identification and maximum absorbance at 475 nm. This color reaction has been developed for the Spectrophotometric determination of manganese in minute quantities. The maximum tolerable limit of other cations and anions is reported.
