TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a high-throughput screening method of nitrile invertase, which comprises the following steps of: dissolving a sample to be tested in distilled water; adding a substrate namely an amino-nitrile compound, a hydroxy-nitrix compound or an amide compound into the mixture until the concentration of the substrate is 1 to 100 mM; performing a conversion reaction in a water bath at the temperature of between 10 and 50 DEG C for 10 to 120 minutes; taking the conversion liquid, adding Fe2 ion aqueous
Abstract: The invention provides a high-throughput screening method of nitrile invertase, which comprises the following steps of: dissolving a sample to be tested in distilled water; adding a substrate namely an amino-nitrile compound, a hydroxy-nitrile compound or an amide compound into the mixture until the concentration of the substrate is 1 to 100 mM; performing a conversion reaction in a water bath at the temperature of between 10 and 50 DEG C for 10 to 120 minutes; taking the conversion liquid, adding Fe2 ion aqueous solution and Fe3 ion aqueous solution into the conversion liquid successively to perform a color reaction, wherein the quantity ratio of the added substrate to the Fe2 to the F3 is 1:1-3:1-3, the time interval for adding the two ions is 0 to 10 minutes; and judging the type of the contained nitrile invertase according to color changes of the solution. The complex color reaction-based high-throughput screening method of the nitrile invertase can better overcome the defects of the conventional screening method, can quickly identify whether the tested sample has the nitrile hydratase, amidase or nitrilase through simple color contrasts, has the advantages of simple and convenient operation, quick detection, economical efficiency, practicability and the like, and greatly facilitates the quick screening of the nitrile hydratase, the amidase or the nitrilase.

TL;DR: In this article, a new polysaccharide substance consisting of α (1-4)-bound D- glucose unit of the formula (R is H or acetyl) was extracted and separated from a solution obtained by culturing Basidiomycetes in the presence of a plant tissue raw material.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a new polysaccharide substance exhibiting properties as a biological response modifier and useful as an immunopotentiator, etc. CONSTITUTION: This polysaccharide substance comprises α (1-4)-bound D- glucose unit of the formula (R is H or acetyl) in which about 30% of two or three hydroxyl groups are acetylated and has the following physicochemical properties. Appearance, white amorphous powder and tasteless and odorless; solubility, insoluble in alcohol, acetone, hexane, etc., and soluble in water, formamide, etc.; pH of the water solution, neutral; constitutional sugar, only glucose; molecular weight, 500-10000; specific rotation, [α]D (at 24°C)=+112°C to +116°C; color reaction, positive to anthrone sulfuric acid reaction, phenol sulfuric acid reaction and chromotrope sulfuric reaction and negative to biuret reaction, Lawry-Folin reaction, Elson-Morgan reaction and iodine reaction; melting point, not exhibiting clear melting point. Furthermore, the polysaccharide substance is extracted and separated from a solution obtained by culturing Basidiomycetes in the presence of a plant tissue raw material. COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO

TL;DR: In this article, the glycoprotein RBF-PGP obtained from the surface skin part of rice was used to treat trasplanted carcinoma of experimental animal by oral administration.
Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:The glycoprotein RBF-PGP obtained from the surface skin part of rice. Elemental analysis (%), C 53.0-56.0, H 7.80-8.50, and N 10.5-11.4; molecular weight, about 170,000 (by gelfiltration); isoelectric point, pH=4.7+ or -0.15; solubility, insoluble in water, physiological saline water, dilute hydrochloric acid, etc., and soluble in dilute alkaline aqueous solution; color reaction, positive to biuret reaction, etc., and negative to phenol sulfuric acid reaction, etc. USE:Antitumor agent exhibiting remarkable antitumor activity against the trasplanted carcinoma of experimental animal by oral administration. PREPARATION:The objective RBF-pgp can be prepared by preparing RBF-P from the surface skin part of rice according to the method disclosed in the Japanese Patent Publication No.59-4690, extracting the RBF-P with a polar organic solvent, treating the soluble component under acidic condition with an organic solvent immiscible with water under dilute alkaline condition (e.g. hydrocarbons, ethers, etc.), and removing the component soluble in the organic solvent.

TL;DR: The conditions of color reaction of boric acid with 1 (2 hydroxy 3 methoxybenzyl amino) 8 hydroxynaphalene 3 6 disulfonic acid in buffer medium of ethamine at pH 6 5 were studied in this paper.
Abstract: The conditions of color reaction of boric acid with 1 (2 hydroxy 3 methoxybenzylidence amino) 8 hydroxynaphalene 3 6 disulfonic acid in buffer medium of ethamine at pH 6 5 were studied in the assy The maximum absorption wavelength of this coordination compound was 420 nm The coordination reaction showed a good linear relationship at the concentrations of boric acid of 0 4~0 6 mg/L The detection limit and molar absorptivity (e) was 0 08 mg/L and 4 6×10 4 L/(mol·cm) respectively. This method presented perfect selectivity under the existence of EDTA solution, had been successfully applied in the determination of boric acid in natural mineral water for drinking
