TL;DR: In this article, a new chromogenic reagent,p-sulfobenzylidene thiorhodanine(SBDTR) was synthesized, and its structure was verified by elemental analysis,IR and HNMR.
Abstract: A new chromogenic reagent,p-sulfobenzylidene thiorhodanine(SBDTR) was synthesized, and its structure was verified by elemental analysis,IR and HNMR.The color reaction of lead with SBDTR was studied. In HAc-NaAc buffer solution at pH 4.5 and in the presence of Tween-80,SBDTR can react with lead? to form a stable 2∶1 complex. The complex can be extracted by Waters Sep-Pak C_(18) cartridge and eluted by ethanol, the enrichment multiple can achieve 50 times. The molar absorptivity of the complex is 1.05×10~5 L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1) at 552 nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.05-4.0 μg/mL for lead. This method can be applied to the determination of lead in environmental samples.

Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:An antibiotic substance MH 850A having the following physicochemical. properties: Appearance, colorless prism-like crystal; elemental analysis (%), C 60.94, H 9.16, N 3.92, 0 26.05; molecular weight (SI-MS), 1103; molecular formula, C52H101N3O18; solubility, readily soluble in pyridine and hot methanol, slightly soluble in water and acetone and insoluble in ethyl acetate, benzene, chloroform and ethyl ether; color reaction, positive to potassium permanganate, Dragendorff reagent, Sakaguchi reaction and 2,4-DNPH and negative in iron (III) chloride and ninhydrin reaction, etc. USE:A germicide. PREPARATION:A microbial strain belonging to the genus Streptomyces of Streptomyces hygroscopicus MH 850-hF11 strain (FERM P-9445) is cultured under aerobic conditions at 25-35 deg.C and neutral pH for 2-7 day.

TL;DR: A method for the quantitative determination of chloral hydrate, chloroform and related R-C-X 3 compounds in blood is described in this paper, which avoids the simultaneous preparation of standard solutions by use of the photoelectric colorimeter and calibration curves.
Abstract: A method for the quantitative determination of chloral hydrate, chloroform and related R-C-X 3 compounds in blood is described. The technic, based on the Fugiwara color reaction, avoids the simultaneous preparation of standard solutions by use of the photoelectric colorimeter and calibration curves. The introduction of alcohol to retard color fading makes the method rapid and accurate.
