Abstract: This paper summarizes the background of the idea of walking city, analyzes the relevant research practice at home and abroad, and then walks from the two levels of connotation and value. The relationship between the city and its walking system is elaborated. Based on the above understanding, combined with the research method, a pedestrian city construction strategy based on collaborative planning is proposed. The collaborative planning significance of the system and motor vehicle traffic, public transportation, public space, public buildings and riding systems is discussed, combined with the practice of Melbourne pedestrian city construction. The implementation of the above five latitudes of collaborative planning is proposed.

Abstract: General design has always been existing between human and nature, as an innovative intelligent activity, general design has a profound and lasting contribution on the society and its collaborative existence and development with nature. Through the comprehensive analysis and study of general design?s connotation and property, based on the deep analysis and philosophic exploration of design?s spirit, this paper proposes definitely that scientific general design is human being?s intelligent activity and conducting beacon, analyzes design?s encrypted property rationally from eight aspects and expounds that general design philosophy?s essence is the impassioned motive force for activating and keeping human being?s creative mind, innovative ability, wisdom advancement and life force, and certainly a strong guarantee for human to avoid corruption and even destruction.

Abstract: Among an array of language skills, which students should obtain during their university education, there are translating skills that will help them to fully comprehend their potential and will promote their knowledge, academic and research mobility. This paper addresses the problem of training and improvement of students’ translating skills and its targets are to reveal peculiarities of non-equivalent vocabulary and transferring from one language into another without distorting reality and without losing characteristics of language society. The leading approach to research is problem – thematic. The main results of research are in systematization of methods of translation. western thoughts have brought many new ideas to China in 19th century, and influenced the words’ meanings of Chinese words system. The
Chinese-English translated terms and their different derivations bridge the gap
between different cultures. The scholar translated English word “civilization”
into Chinese word “wenming”. “Wenming” is derived from “wen” and “ming”. “Wen”
means “People feel and experience the nature by heart, and then painting and
describing things, at last, one can obtain knowledge through this process”. “Ming”
means “based on wen, people are conducted to the correct direction, and become
enlightened and civilized”. “Civilization” is derived from “civil”. And “civil”,
“civis”, “civitas” and “civilitas” have the same word origin. The radical factors
of the meaning of the word “civilization” are “make” and “development”. They
focused on the “town” and “city”, namely, the process of cumulating wealth and
remolding the nature through human being intervening in nature actively. The
different word derivations between “wenming” and “civilization” disclose the
differences of the location and culture when the modern thought of civilization
was pervading the whole world. At the same time, with the semantic developing
of “wenming”, it has the similar concept connotation with “civilization”, so it
displays the compatible property and makes it possible for translation between
two language units.

Abstract: Using literature data and other research methods, the paper analyzed on the connotation of Olympic culture, resolved the feature of Olympic culture.The research carried out that the connotation of Olympic culture is very rich,it not only covered the Olympic Games, but also management,systems, rituals,ceremonies,education,art, architecture,technology and the mass media etc. during the Olympic Games.The Olympic movement, concept, ideal and everything about it is human’s cultural heritage.
