TL;DR: The Tactical battlefield entity agent interactions model is presented to support simulation based on multi-agent interactions by using an improved Contract Net Protocol and shows its advantages in realizing platform-level military simulation.
Abstract: Tactical warfare process, e.g., engagement between opposite forces, is full of unpredictability and platform-level interactions that result great difficulties in performing battlefield entities simulation. In this paper, modeling and simulation based on multi-agent interactions is applied to solve the problem. Based on the analysis on the requirement and countermeasure, the mapping from tactical warfare system's members, i.e. platform-level tactical battlefield entities, to respective intelligent agents is set up. Thus, the multi-agent platform-level tactical battlefield entities simulation system and its agent model are designed. Tactical battlefield entity agent interactions model is presented to support simulation based on multi-agent interactions by using an improved Contract Net Protocol. The established demonstration system proves the feasibility and efficiency of our model and shows its advantages in realizing platform-level military simulation.

TL;DR: The Object-Oriented Petri net and the concept of object Agent were used to describe the dynamic contract net protocol and the analysis shows that this new model is live, concurrent and can lighten the traffic and enhance the general availability.
Abstract: The traditional contract net protocol model which works on bids invitation between a manager Agent and contractor Agents can successfully realize the cooperation and complete the goal task among AgentsBut it also faces many problems such as the high traffic and weak general availabilityTherefore, the Object-Oriented Petri net and the concept of object Agent were used to describe the dynamic contract net protocolThe analysis shows that this new model is live, concurrent and can lighten the traffic and enhance the general availability

TL;DR: Knowledge based reasoning and Contract Net Protocol is adopted in the integration conflict resolution system, which ensures that virtual enterprises respond rapidly to the market.
Abstract: In order to resolve the conflicts in virtual enterprises, an integrated conflict resolution system architecture is constructed. Different coordination mechanisms are adopted to avoid conflicts and several kinds of resolution strategies are used together to resolve conflicts. Knowledge based reasoning and Contract Net Protocol is adopted in the integration conflict resolution system. The strategies can be chosen automatically with muzzy reasoning, which ensure that virtual enterprises respond rapidly to the market.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors designed an architecture consisting of the Contract Net Protocol, the Behavior Tree, and a human-swarm interaction that was evaluated using team play in a simulated Tail Tag game.
Abstract: Despite the impressive advances in artificial intelligence (AI), close collaboration between people and AI systems is still hard to achieve. To overcome this problem, we have designed an architecture consisting of the Contract Net Protocol, the Behavior Tree, and a human–multiple agent interface that we call "human-swarm interaction." Its effectiveness and feasibility were evaluated using team play in a simulated Tail Tag game. Matches with up to 19 AI agents and 1 person on one team and 20 people on the other team were played. The results indicate that our system is scalable and that there is room for improvement. We identified two key features for AI agents to achieve collaboration with people in a serious game as represented by Tail Tag game: the ability to at least remain alive in any situation, and active declaration of roles being attempted as well as sharing of roles.

TL;DR: A conditional contract net protocol based DGWA algorithm based on analysis of DGWA performing conditions is proposed, and experimental results show that the algorithm is effective in NADMS.
Abstract: Distributed guide weapon assignment(DGWA) is one of the cutting-edge problems in networked air defense missile systems(NADMS) research, aiming to allocate the most suitable guides to the weapons which are separately deployed,so as to maximize the effectiveness of NADMS.With description and analysis of DGWA in NADMS,a conditional contract net protocol based DGWA algorithm is proposed.Based on analysis of DGWA performing conditions, the framework of the algorithm is designed systemically.A stages announcement mechanism for auctioneers is presented,as well as an adaptive scheduling based bidding mechanism for bidders. The processes of DGWA in different performing conditions are simulated and analyzed through a typical scenario.Experimental results show that the algorithm is effective in NADMS.
