Intelligent agents for modeling of battlefield intelligence reconnaissance entities

Abstract: To support the advanced concept technology demonstration of operational applications of multiple intelligence reconnaissance platforms on future information battlefield, multi-agent-oriented modeling technology is applied to set up the mappings from intelligence reconnaissance system's members to respective agents, by which the distributed multi-agent system is designed. In this paper, multi-agent-oriented intelligence reconnaissance system organization and agents' architecture are studied. Contract Net protocol approach is applied to the inter-agent problem, i.e., collaboration of multiple intelligence reconnaissance platform agents. The established distributed multi-agent system model shows its advantages on realizing the platform-level simulation for the external, dynamic, complex and intelligent process of intelligence reconnaissance on information battlefield.

Use contract switching method and communication provider server

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease the burden of a user at the subscription by easily changing a pre-paid contract to a post-paid contract, and to reduce the arrears of a communication fee without limiting the type of devices when making a pre-paid contract. SOLUTION: A provider generates provisional edition customer information based on the user's subscription application (S101), and registers it in a data base 55 (S102), and registers it in a pre-paid management system. The pre-paid management system sets a network for pre-paid sue for the customer (S103). Thus, the user can use a service under the pre-paid contract. Afterwards, when the user is identified, official edition customer information is registered in a data base 51 (S108), and any service under the pre-paid contract is stopped, and a service under a post-paid contract is started. Also, when the arrears of a communication fee is generated under the post-paid contract, the post-paid contract is automatically changed to the pre-paid contract.

A Systems Integration Oriented Multi-agent Hierarchy Cooperation Model

Abstract: The cooperation among agents is an important way to realize dynamic systems integration. In order to implement the integration, the hierarchy cooperation model in this paper is implemented with horizontal cooperation model combined with vertical one. In the horizontal cooperation model, centralized control agent in this model executes scripts to control the cooperation among agents. It can improve the flexibility of the systems integration. While in the vertical cooperation model, an extension of the contract net protocol using conversational method, named CECNP (the conversational extended contract net protocol) is introduced, which can improve the intelligence of the systems integration. The hierarchy cooperation model is applied to the agent-based systems integration tool (ASIT), and it takes the border and coast defense simulation system (BCDSS) as a test case. The various modules of BCDSS have been integrated successfully and the validity of this model has been proved in ASIT.

Research of Agent communication model and Agent's negotiation protocol in Multi-Agent based manufacturing system

Abstract: Based on analysis of the characteristics of agent communication in Multi-Agent Systemapplied in manufacturing system, this paper proposes an agent cooperation process basedon Contract Net Protocol and a solution for negotiation conflict avoidance, designs anagent communication Model, using KQML as communication language and CORBAstandard as the base of agent's communication and interoperation, and lastly, analysesthis type of agent communication mode via an application of MAS in job shop scheduling.
