TL;DR: In this paper, experimental results for propagation in a selection of slotline and coplanar geometries are given for X-band planar circuits incorporating semiconductors including balanced mixers, and p-i-n-diode switches and attenuators.
Abstract: Experimental results are given for propagation in a selection of slotline and coplanar geometries. Examples are given of X-band planar circuits incorporating semiconductors including balanced mixers, and p-i-n-diode switches and attenuators. Finally, an example of how slotline dipoles may be used to produce a simple aerial array is presented.

TL;DR: A waveguide switch with four RF ports in coplanar relationship and incorporating four waveguide transmission lines in a single rotating mechanism on two levels, the rotating mechanism being driven by an electromagnetic stopper motor or the like to efficiently function as a multiple redundant waveguide switching as discussed by the authors.
