TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between teacher stress and job satisfaction facets with particular reference to corporate, Higher Secondary School of Nepal and found that the reliability of both instruments were greater than 0.82.
Abstract: Occupational stress and Job satisfaction and both indicate people appraisal towards the workplace and work it. Thus, it is important to have valid measure of job satisfaction and occupational stress. This measure is also important in the Nepalease teaching context. This preliminary study established internal consistency using Cronbach alpha values for both instruments. In addition to this, the article investigates the relationship between teacher stress and job satisfaction facets with particular reference to corporate, Higher Secondary School of Nepal. The findings of the study revealed that the reliability of both instruments were greater than 0.82. The Determinants of job stress that have been examined under this study include, Role overload, Role ambiguity, Role Conflict, Unreasonable Group and Political Pressures, Responsibility for person, Under participation, Powerlessness, Poor peer Relation, Intrinsic Impoverishment, Low status, Strenuous Working conditions, Un profitability. The Determinants of job satisfaction that have been examined under this study include Work, pay, co-workers, supervision, Promotion, Job in general. The sample consists of a Government, Private and Public Higher Secondary School teacher of Nepal from Kathmandu and Latitpur District of Nepal. The results show there is a significant relationship between Job stressors, job stress and job satisfaction.

TL;DR: This study was trying to explore the correlation between employee’s personal profile and their satisfaction in their job, and it revealed that comparatively young employees with dependents were more satisfied with their job.
Abstract: Job satisfaction can be defined as "the extent to which people like or dislike their jobs". This definition suggests
job satisfaction is a general or global affective reaction that individuals hold about their job. Family Roles are patterns of behavior by which individuals fulfill family functions and needs. Family role changes may affect their daily activities including a person’s work. Unlike traditional job satisfaction surveys, this study was trying to explore the correlation between employee’s personal profile and their satisfaction in their job. The personal
profile determinants which were compared with overall job satisfaction were - Age, Gender, Work experience, marital status, dependent children and parents. It revealed that majority of the determinants studied were having positive impact on the job satisfaction. It is interesting to note that comparatively young employees with dependents were more satisfied with their job. They were feeling satisfied and motivated to work as they were contributing to the family.

TL;DR: This article examined unique associations between surface personality traits of emotional intelligence, core self-evaluations, and subjective well-being in dental students, and found that trait emotional intelligence (trait EI) and the neuroticism component of CSE better predicted affective components of subjective wellbeing, and cognitive CSE traits (self-esteem, selfefficacy, and locus of control) better predicted life satisfaction.
Abstract: We examined unique associations between surface personality traits of emotional intelligence, core self-evaluations, and subjective well-being in dental students. A cross-sectional study of 218 undergraduates showed that trait emotional intelligence (trait EI) and core self-evaluations (CSE) predicted subjective well-being controlling the Big Five personality traits. Structural equation modeling showed that trait EI and the neuroticism component of CSE better predicted affective components of subjective well-being, and cognitive CSE traits (self-esteem, self-efficacy, and locus of control) better predicted life satisfaction, the cognitive component of subjective well-being. These findings demonstrate the utility of a parallel-process approach that specifies differential prediction of cognitive and affective subjective well-being components.

TL;DR: This paper conducted meta-analyses of the relationship of general mental ability with two organizationally relevant indicators of happiness (i.e., job and life satisfaction) and found that there was a small, positive correlation between GMA and both job satisfaction (ρ = ǫ 0.05) and life-satisfaction (ρ ≥ 0.11).
