TL;DR: In this paper , a serial multiple mediation model was developed and tested on 2183 active seniors using the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study data to examine how active seniors' job changes impact life satisfaction through person-job fit and job satisfaction.
Abstract: With older workers staying in or re-entering the workforce post-retirement, there has been growing interest in the aging workforce. This study examines how active seniors’ job changes impact life satisfaction through person–job fit and job satisfaction. Drawing on conservation of resources, person–job fit, and spillover theories, we developed and tested a serial multiple mediation model on 2183 active seniors using the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study data. The results of PROCESS macro analysis showed that (a) job change negatively affects life satisfaction, (b) both person–job fit and job satisfaction parallelly mediate the job change and life satisfaction relationship, and (c) there is a serial multiple mediation effect of person–job fit and job satisfaction on the job change and life satisfaction relationship. Our study reveals the link between work and nonwork domains as informed by the three theories, extends the existing literature on life satisfaction from a bottom-up perspective, and considers cultural characteristics.

Abstract: This Study has gathered Primary data by administering Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire among 1200 employees of select Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in India to measure the influence of Job Satisfaction on their performances. The Statistical Techniques and Tools such as Factor Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression, Co-efficient of Variation, F-test and Standard Deviation were used for the purpose of analysis. The study could draw a few significant inferences in respect of the relationship between Job Satisfaction levels and the 22 Job Satisfaction causal factors. The factors such as Sex, Stability of Job, Income, Experience, Designation and Responsibilities are identified as having very close relationship with satisfaction levels. Among 6 attitudinal variables, variables like Ability, Initiative and Job Change were identified as good predictors of Job Satisfaction. The three Organizational Climate Variables showed a positive relationship with job satisfaction levels.

Abstract: This study explores the relationship between job satisfaction and the coherence of the personality type of the employee, according to Myers-Briggs typology, with the nature of their work. The objective of this research is to verify or reject the possibility of finding job satisfaction in those who have a job lined up to their personality. This research is primarily qualitative and complementary quantitative, based on surveys of people between 24 and 35 years old. Surveys will examine personality type, nature of work, and job satisfaction, and will be applied to journalists, graphic designers and schoolteachers. The result of the study is intended to be an orientation criterion for Ecuadorians students recently graduated from undergraduate programs, so they can achieve high levels of satisfaction, by choosing or creating jobs aligned to their personality type according to the Myers-Briggs approach.
