TL;DR: A method for detecting sharp "corners" in a chain-coded plane curve is described and a measure for the prominence ("cornerity") of a corner is introduced.
Abstract: A method for detecting sharp "corners" in a chain-coded plane curve is described. A measure for the prominence ("cornerity") of a corner is introduced. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated by means of a number of examples.

TL;DR: In this paper, the classification of blocks of multi-spectral data is performed in radiometric space studies and may detect flying aircraft or satellites using two CRT displays (32, 37) one producing a three-colour display of the object producing spectral output and a onecolour display used by the operator.
Abstract: The data processing system is orientated towards the presentation of data vectors with similar characteristics, esp. the classification of blocks of multi-spectral data obtd. in radiometric studies. The equipment used comprises a central processor unit (12), a data input unit (14), can operator interactive system (16), a data flow 'pipeline' unit (18) and a data output section (20) capable of producing hard copy results. The characteristic feature of the system is two CRT displays (32, 37) one producing a three-colour display of the object producing spectral output and a one-colour display used by the operator. The system is esp. designed for radiometric space studies and may detect flying aircraft or satellites.
