TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper found that the "face" concept underlies the touring experiences of Chinese corporate travelers and emphasized the need to pay appropriate respect to one's superiors, maintain relationships through gift-giving, and participate in social networking to establish and maintain positive relationships.
Abstract: Corporate travel is a growing segment within the Chinese tourism market, yet despite the widespread belief that cultural values influence behavior, little research has examined the touring experiences of Mainland Chinese corporate travelers. This study, based on participant observations of 12 corporate group package tours, suggests that the “face” concept underlies the touring experiences of Chinese corporate travelers. The travelers emphasized the need to pay appropriate respect to one’s superiors, maintain relationships through gift-giving, and participate in social networking to establish and maintain positive relationships. Implications for tourism scholars and planners are provided.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors make the argument that given their subsidized status, the citizenship of those companies warrants scrutiny, test the common notion that large companies in particular industries derive the greatest benefit from corporate welfare, and determine what, if any, relationship corporate welfare has with corporate citizenship.
Abstract: Researchers in the business and society area have yet to address corporations that receive special government subsidies (a.k.a. corporate welfare). This article makes the argument that given their subsidized status, the citizenship of those companies warrants scrutiny, tests the common notion that large companies in particular industries derive the greatest benefit from corporate welfare, and determines what, if any, relationship corporate welfare has with corporate citizenship. Results show that large companies in particular industries are the most likely recipients of corporate welfare. In addition, corporations that receive corporate welfare demonstrate levels of corporate citizenship, which, after controlling for size, are not significantly different from companies that receive no such subsidies.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the dynamic change of Japan's industrial organization within a framework of the evolutionary process from zaibatsu to business groups and further to the recent network industrial organization.
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the dynamic change of Japan’s industrial organization within a framework of the evolutionary process from zaibatsu to business groups and further to the recent network industrial organization.1 However, the focus of this research is not on a historical analysis. Rather, by making a comparative analysis of the three corporate networks we attempt to bring into relief the basic character of the network industrial organization now appearing in Japan.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated and presented preliminary evidence of "controlling" or "management accounting" practice in a transnational SME, where the authors used traditional management accounting as the basis of supporting decision-making in the group and a lower level of information need was reported.
