TL;DR: In this paper, an adiabatic compression air storage power generation system is characterized in which an S-shaped coiler heat tube heat exchanger is arranged in the air storage chamber, a low pressure countercurrent gas and liquid heat tube injector is arranged between the low pressure compressor and the high pressure compressor, a high pressure buffer gas and LSTM is arranged at the air escape countercurrent, and an air outlet pipeline of the air tank is communicated with the turbine motor.
Abstract: An adiabatic compression air storage power generation system comprises a low pressure compressor, a high pressure compressor, an air storage chamber and a turbine motor, wherein an air inlet pipeline of the air storage chamber is communicated with the high pressure compressor, and an air outlet pipeline of the air storage chamber is communicated with the turbine motor. The adiabatic compression air storage power generation system is characterized in that an S-shaped coiler heat tube heat exchanger is arranged in the air storage chamber, a low pressure countercurrent gas and liquid heat tube heat exchanger is arranged between the low pressure compressor and the high pressure compressor, a high pressure countercurrent gas and liquid heat tube heat exchanger is arranged between the high pressure compressor and the air storage chamber, and an air escape countercurrent gas and liquid heat tube heat exchanger is arranged at the air outlet pipeline of the air storage chamber. The S-shaped coiler heat tube heat exchanger and the countercurrent gas and liquid heat tube heat exchangers are utilized for absorbing compression heat generated in the air injection energy storage process and expansion cold generated in the air escape power generation process in a stepped manner, so that air in the air storage chamber is kept at the relatively constant temperature, the overall operation efficiency of the system is improved, and in addition, the safety of the air storage chamber is ensured, and the continuous and stable operation of units is guaranteed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of gas and liquid flow rates on gas-phase mass transfer from a turbulent gas stream into a laminar falling liquid film in wetted-wall columns with cocurrent and countercurrent gas liquid flow were studied.
Abstract: The effects of gas and liquid flow rates on gas-phase mass transfer from a turbulent gas stream into a laminar falling liquid film in wetted-wall columns with cocurrent and countercurrent gasliquid flow were studied. Numerical solutions were obtained for the average gas-phase Sherwood number as functions of the gas-phase Reynolds number based on the gas velocity relative to the liquid surface, the dimensionless interfacial gas velocity, the gas-phase Schmidt number and the dimensionless column height. Experiments were carried out on the absorption of ammonia into aqueous sulfuric acid solution, using two columns of different dimensions. The agreement between experimental and predicted effects of both gas and liquid flow rates on gas-phase mass transfer rate was found to be fairly good.

TL;DR: In this paper, a general existence criterion is developed for the constant pattern concentration wave in systems with cocurrent and countercurrent flow, and the results pertain to fixed-bed adsorbers and adsorptive membrane systems.
Abstract: Adsorption of a dilute solute from fluid in nonplug flow through a porous structure of arbitrary but constant cross section is treated. Mass transfer is determined by diffusion in transverse and axial directions in both fluid and solid phases. A general existence criterion is developed for the constant pattern concentration wave. The criterion is applied to systems with cocurrent and countercurrent flow. The results pertain to fixed-bed adsorbers and adsorptive membrane systems

TL;DR: In this article, a process and apparatus for the heating or cooling of light solid particles having a low free-fall speed, by means of flowing gas-solid exchangers, is described.
Abstract: The invention discloses a process and apparatus for the heating or cooling of light solid particles having a low free-fall speed, by means of flowing gas-solid exchangers. The process makes it possible to heat or cool light solid particles dispersed in a gas flow by contacting them with a countercurrent flow of heavy solid particles having a greater final free-fall speed and that are hot or cool in relation to the light particles, thus effecting a heat transfer between the particles.

TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical treatment of the effects of countercurrent mass transfer in large columns used for enriching natural water by deuterium isotope exchange with gaseous H2S is presented.
Abstract: A significant variation of temperature may occur in processes involving countercurrent mass transfer when only small amounts of heat are generated within the equipment. Contributing causes include heats of vaporization of the solvent and solution of the solutes, the small enthalpy change owing to the exchange reastion, Joule-Thompson effects in liquid and gas, and changes in the potential energy of the streams/su A theoretical treatment of the effects is given, and the computed temperature profiles are compared with observed temperatures in large columns used for enriching natural water by deuterium isotope exchange with gaseous H2S.
