TL;DR: In this article, a countercurrent type direct heating heat exchanger capable of suppressing drift upon supplying a heating fluid, preventing local wear of a member, and efficiently performing heat exchange is proposed.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countercurrent type direct heating heat exchanger capable of suppressing drift upon supplying a heating fluid, preventing local wear of a member, and efficiently performing heat exchange SOLUTION: The countercurrent type direct heating heat exchanger incorporates a supply pipe 1 for the heating fluid, a supply nozzle 2, a ring-shaped rectifying plate 3, and an umbrella type dispersion plate 4 The shape of the supply nozzle 2 is a pipe shape having a circular cross section, its dimensions satisfying expressions (1) and (2), wherein expression (1): Ln/Dn≥1 in which Ln is a length of the supply nozzle 2 and Dn is an inner diameter of the supply nozzle 2, and expression (2): 15≤Sp/Sn≤20 in which Sp is an internal cross section of the supply pipe 1 and Sn is an internal cross section of the supply nozzle 2 COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

TL;DR: In this paper, a product stream is heated and subsequently cooled to treatment end temperature on a flow path covered over its entire length at an at least approximately constant flow rate, in indirect heat exchange with a heat transfer medium flowing in countercurrent in exchange zones, with the recovery of heat.
Abstract: In the process for a heat treatment prolonging the shelf life, in particular ultra-high heating, of products containing germs, a product stream is heated and subsequently cooled to treatment end temperature on a flow path covered over its entire length at an at least approximately constant flow rate, in indirect heat exchange with a heat transfer medium flowing in countercurrent in exchange zones, with the recovery of heat. At the beginning of a high-temperature zone which includes the treatment end temperature, the product stream is divided into parallel part streams of equal quantities, and in their separate part-flow paths, the part streams are exposed to treatment conditions of which are identical to each other. At the end of the high-temperature zone, the part streams are recombined to form one comprehensive stream.

TL;DR: In this article, a multistage countercurrent extraction system is proposed for liquid-liquid extraction process technology research and experimental simulation, which mainly consists of a speed regulator, a centrifugal extractor, a rack, a peristaltic pump, a temperature controller and a liquid storage tank.
Abstract: The utility model provides a multistage countercurrent extraction system which is mainly applied to liquid-liquid extraction process technology research and experimental simulation, and aims at solving the technical problems that in the original extraction experiment process, the extraction process is not easily observed, etc. The multistage countercurrent extraction system mainly comprises a speed regulator, a centrifugal extractor, a rack, a peristaltic pump, a temperature controller and a liquid storage tank; a shell, a rotary drum and other flow passage components are made of polymer composite materials. The multistage countercurrent extraction system is compact in structure, light in weight and convenient to operate; due to the system, various countercurrent extraction experiments can be rapidly carried out.
