Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countercurrent chromatography method and a countercurrent chromatographic system. SOLUTION: In the countercurrent chromatography technology or the like, a separation tube wherein its inside space is divided by a plurality of partitions each having one or more pores, thereby making up a number of cells connected serially with each other, is employed instead of a conventional hollow separation tube. The separation tube has an internal diameter, corresponding to interfacial tension between a stationary phase and a mobile phase so that diameters of moving droplets become almost equal to the internal diameter of the separation tube.
