TL;DR: A remotely controlled vehicle cover is attached to a take-up spool winding and unwinding mechanism which is housed in an eccentric-shaped containment tube, mounted under the front or back bumper areas of a vehicle.
Abstract: A remotely controlled power-assisted vehicle cover is attached to a take-up spool winding and unwinding mechanism which is housed in an eccentric-shaped containment tube, mounted under the front or back bumper areas of a vehicle. The vehicle cover is extracted from the cylindrical cover containment tube and placed over a vehicle by a wand fastened to the l eading edge of the vehicle cover and houses a wireless control system including a remote motor control and a transmitter to send: on/off, single or variable speed, and reversing controls to the drive motor of the cover extracting/retracting mechanism. In addition to controlling the co ver drive motor, the control wand is used to physically guide the protective cover on or off the vehicle. The control wand can easily be operated with one hand and enables precise control of the power-assisted application or removal of the vehicle cover. The cover application operation is done so quickly that a blanket of air is trapped between the cover and the vehicle and helps the cover slide freely over the surface of the vehicle.

TL;DR: In this paper, an article transfer apparatus for transferring and assembling a television receiver back cover from a conveyor to a receiver cabinet is presented, including a set of pneumatically operated suction cups which are aligned to displace along axes which intersect at a common point to avoid torquing and misorienting the cover during the transfer.
Abstract: An article transfer apparatus for transferring and assembling a television receiver back cover from a conveyor to a receiver cabinet. The apparatus is robotically operated and includes a set of pneumatically operated suction cups which are aligned to displace along axes which intersect at a common point to avoid torquing and misorienting the cover during the transfer. Vacuum is applied to the cups to assist in gripping the cover and for sensing a misgripped status. A fail-safe system locks the grip on the cover in case of power failure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to eliminate the need to write a cover letter such as address information on an address by a sender at every time by storing information required to generate the cover letter on the memory of transmission-side facsimile equipment.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to write a cover letter such as address information on an address by a sender at every time by storing information required to generate the cover letter on the memory of transmission-side facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:A processor 3 describes the contents of fixed information corresponding to the cover letter in code in a fixed format storage area 8-3 corresponding to an instruction from an operator. When the sender sets an original and instructs an address by one-touch dialing, the processor 3 uses a telephone number (TEL No.) on 8-1-(1) to call the opposite facsimile equipment. Further, the processor 3 reads the contents of a format storage area 8-3 on a RAM 8 based on the contents of a cover letter editing program storage area 7-1 and expands image data corresponding to the cover lever 1 on a work area 8-2. Further, address information, etc., are read out and image data corresponding to said cover letter 1 is completed by referring to the contents of a character generator 6.

TL;DR: In this article, a control part is so constituted as to transmit only an address extracted from a cover read by an original reading part 1 by a cover input discriminating part 3 to the opposite facsimile equipment having the same telephone number by the command from a operating panel.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten a transmission time and to facilitate telegraphic message distribution to a reception side by preventing an unnecessary address from being transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A control part 4 is so constituted as to transmit only an address extracted from a cover read by an original reading part 1 by a cover input discriminating part 3 to the opposite facsimile equipment having the same telephone number or only an address segmented from a cover read out of a file 6 by a segmenting part 5 to the opposite facsimile equipment having the same telephone number by the command from a operating panel 2. Consequently, a cover where an unnecessary address is entered is prevented from being transmitted and only necessary addresses are transmitted, so the transmission time is shortened and the sorting of telegraphic messages at the reception side is facilitated.

TL;DR: In this paper, the cover image information is recorded in the document number correspondence area E20 in the form of size-reduced data of raw data and then when display image retrieval is performed, the data is supplied to a work terminal 18 as it is and only displayed on the display screen.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To speed up processes up to the display of a cover image by reading plural sheets of cover image information which are recorded on an optical disk while reduced in size without compression (raw data), and then displaying them on a display device when the cover image is retrieved. CONSTITUTION:Cover image information on each document is reduced in size without data compression and recorded at a corresponding number position in the 2nd document number correspondence area E20. Thus, the cover image information is recorded in the document number correspondence area E20 in the form of size-reduced data of raw data and then when display image retrieval is performed, the data is supplied to a work terminal 18 as it is and only displayed on the display screen. Consequently, (n) cover sheet images which are reduced in size are arrayed and displayed on the same picture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow one transfer bankbook to transfer money to plural transfer destinations by installing on a cover or back cover a magnetic stripe where transfer source information is entered and further installing in a page one magnetic stripe where transfer destination information is entered. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic stripe MSO where transfer source information is entered is provided on some part of the cover or back cover, and the magnetic strip MSn where transfer destination information is entered is provided on some part of one page, thereby constituting the transfer bankbook 1. A user opens a page entering the magnetic stripe MSn where the prescribed transfer destination information is entered, inserts it into a terminal equipment, and inputs transfer money, whereby money is automatically transferred to a transfer destination. The transaction details at that time are printed on the same page, from which a transfer state can be detected.
