TL;DR: The frequency stability is analyzed for a voltage-controlled grounded-base crystal oscillator by matrix algebra and the validity of the resulting equation was verified by measurements on an oscillator with a 110-MHz fifth-overtone quartz crystal.
Abstract: The frequency stability is analyzed for a voltage-controlled grounded-base crystal oscillator by matrix algebra. The validity of the resulting equation was verified by measurements on an oscillator with a 110-MHz fifth-overtone quartz crystal. Sensitivity coefficients for the oscillator are computed with the aid of a time share computer program and its sweep range is drawn by a plotting routine.

TL;DR: In this paper, a technique for profiling or featuring of frequency outputs from a crystal-based oscillator reducing the deviations of frequency, due to the influence of environment is proposed, which is a technology for deciding the frequency profiles of crystal resonators in real time.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for profiling or featuring of frequency outputs from a crystal, based oscillator reducing the deviations of frequency, due to the influence of environment. SOLUTION: This is a technology for deciding the frequency profiles of crystal resonators in real time. Of the crystal resonator experiencing a series of temperature cycles with various temperature variabilities, the crystal frequencies, the crystal temperature parameter and the temperature variability are monitored, when the crystal resonator experiences temperature cycles. Then, the monitored frequencies are classified, related to the monitored temperature parameters and the temperature variability. The system for deciding the frequencies of crystal resonator includes a processor for implementing the frequency profiling technology. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a clock supply device for communications engineering, which is constructed to be symmetrical and exhibits two chambers for accommodating the crystals of the crystal oscillator and of the auxiliary oscillator.
Abstract: of EP0372646To stabilise the frequency emitted by a crystal oscillator, a first crystal of a crystal oscillator is operated at the turn-over point of its temperature/frequency characteristic and kept at constant temperature in a thermostatic housing. The thermostatic housing contains a second temperature-dependent crystal of an auxiliary oscillator which regulates the heating of the thermostatic housing. It is proposed that the thermostatic housing is constructed to be symmetrical and exhibits two chambers for accommodating the crystals of the crystal oscillator and of the auxiliary oscillator, the frequency of the auxiliary oscillator corresponding to the frequency of the crystal oscillator. The crystals of the crystal oscillator and of the auxiliary oscillator are provided with crystal housings which are in each case identical. Clock supply devices for communications engineering.

TL;DR: In this article, the general principles of the design of concentric conductor lines and means for compensating temperature changes are discussed, and the line controlled oscillators may be used with frequency multipliers, or to control oscillators at lower frequencies.
Abstract: Vacuum tube oscillators for radio frequency signals above 25 megacycles may be controlled with a high degree of precision by resonant lines, and at lower frequencies may be used to obtain a larger power output than is obtainable from crystal oscillators. The general principles of the design of concentric conductor lines and means for compensating temperature changes are discussed in this paper. Line controlled oscillators may be used with frequency Multipliers, or to control oscillators at lower frequencies.
