Abstract: A device for indicating a low level in the reservoir of an automobile windshield washer system comprises a warning light on the vehicle''s dashboard and a float-controlled switch that operates the warning light when the float drops to a predetermined level. At its lower end, the float has a series of end-to-end elements that are joined together by flangible connections so that one or more of the sections can be removed to shorten the float and allow it to be used in reservoirs of different depths.

TL;DR: In this article, a brake system having a pair of fluid-operated brake networks including substantially concurrently actuable master-cylinder chambers and respective sets of wheel brakes communicating therewith, an ignition battery, a brake or tail lamp energizable by the battery upon operation of the brake pedal, and a pair fluid-responsive switches each operatively connected with a respective one of said networks for operating an electrical warning lamp on the dashboard effective upon failure of hydraulic pressure in one of the networks for indicating such failure.
