TL;DR: In this paper, an electrical device, such as a radio or a cassette player, can be moved from a rear position within the dashboard to a front position when the device is to be operated, and from the front position to the rear position in case of deactivation and storage.
Abstract: Apparatus and circuitry are disclosed for moving an electrical device, such as a radio or a cassette player, within a vehicle dashboard. The device is movable from a rear position within the dashboard to a front position within the dashboard when the device is to be operated, and from the front position to the rear position within the dashboard when the device is to be deactivated and stored.

TL;DR: In this article, a mounting for a portable navigation computer for a vehicle has a flexible support plate (10) which is moulded to fit onto the vehicle, e.g. onto the end of the dashboard and on which is fitted a support arm with a connecting plate (20) onto which can be clipped the computer.
Abstract: A mounting for a portable navigation computer (2) for a vehicle has a flexible support plate (10) which is moulded to fit onto the vehicle, e.g. onto the end of the dashboard and on which is fitted a support arm with a connecting plate (20) onto which can be clipped the computer. The power cord (8) is integral to the mounting plate with the cord outlet at one edge of the plate from where it can be fed into the dashboard or into a cable guide. The user is able to pre-programme the route on the computer before entering the vehicle.

TL;DR: The conclusion of this study is that the IoT-based smart energy Dashboard proposal can help in controlling electrical devices in real time.
Abstract: Electricity is one of the most important needs of the community, efficient use of electricity is very difficult to do when people lack awareness and discipline in using electricity, one of the problems that often occurs is when the homeowner is not at the location and wants it. to control electrical equipment. Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept with the aim of expanding the connectivity of internet networks connected to global networks, IoT can be used to control electronic equipment remotely or automatically. This study aims to build a remote control device that utilizes internet technology by carrying out the process of controlling existing devices on the internet network through systems on mobile devices, the contribution of this research is to create designs and models that will be used to build smart energy devices that are applied to home features smart by using sensor devices so that electronic equipment can be controlled according to the desired conditions, automatically or remotely on the android application. The smart energy dashboard is designed using the ESP8266 MCU node which is connected to the Firebase cloud which will move the digital signal to the relay as an electrical circuit breaker. Based on the results of system testing at 90.3% usability, 85.8% functionality and 90% Reliability, the Efficiency aspect test obtained the highest level of CPU efficiency at the level of 28% and dropped stably at a percentage of 10%, for the highest memory usage of 119.2MB begins with a memory usage of 47.7MB out of a total allocation of 143.1 MB. The conclusion of this study is that the IoT-based smart energy Dashboard proposal can help in controlling electrical devices in real time.

TL;DR: In this paper, an airbag system for jointly supporting at least two vehicle occupants inside a motor vehicle in case of an accident is presented, where each airbag is sealed by a deflector inserted against the other airbag and the airbags are fixed inside the housing.
Abstract: An airbag system for jointly supporting at least two vehicle occupants inside a motor vehicle in case of an accident with at least two separate airbags inflatable with a gas supplied by a gas generator. The airbag system has at least two airbags (14, 15) folded into a common housing (10) to be arranged in the dashboard of the motor vehicle. The airbags are connected to a common gas generator (11) having at least two outflow areas (13, 18, 19) assigned to the at least two airbags (14, 15). Each airbag (14, 15) is sealed by a deflector (16, 17) inserted therein against the respectively other airbag (14, 15), and the airbags are fixed inside the housing (10).

TL;DR: This paper presents the current work towards the development of a full-windshield HUD interface that could enhance human responses and provide time-dependant and only critical information for collisions avoidance.
Abstract: Contemporary needs for constant provision of information and communication has crowded the modern vehicle's interior with a variety of instrumentation displays. This abundance of automotive infotainment devices can reduce significantly driver's decision making process and response times, leading to higher probability of collision, especially under adverse weather conditions. Typical dashboard instrumentation has proven inefficient to tackle such issues and Head-Up Display (HUD) interfaces deemed as an increasingly viable alternative by recent developments in automotive research and manufacturing. This paper presents our current work towards the development of a full-windshield HUD interface that could enhance human responses and provide time-dependant and only critical information for collisions avoidance. For the evaluation of the system we have developed a VR driving simulator that simulates traffic flow and typical accident scenarios in motorway environment. Finally the paper presents the evaluation results and future work that would improve the interaction between HUD interface and driver.
