TL;DR: In this article, the dashboard instrument display has an analogue discrete tachometer or an analogue tachometers provided by a freely-programmed display region of the instrument display of fixed size and position, with a further display region used for providing digital and/or pictogram display information.
Abstract: The dashboard instrument display (1) has an analogue discrete tachometer (2), or an analogue tachometer provided by a freely-programmed display region of the instrument display of fixed size and position, with a further freely-programmed display region (5) used for providing digital and/or pictogram display information, e.g. using 2 separate display screens.

TL;DR: In this article, the dashboard has a printed circuit carrying the supply circuit for the illumination system directly in contact with the underside of the instrument panel (4), or alternatively the latter is formed of a material which allows the printed circuit to be directly applied to it.
Abstract: The dashboard has a printed circuit carrying the supply circuit for the illumination system(16) directly in contact with the underside of the instrument panel (4), or alternatively the latter is formed of a material which allows the printed circuit to be directly applied to it. Pref. the instrument panel (4) fits across the front of a plastics housing (1) containing the various instruments and its peripheral edges support the lamps (16) providing the panel illuminations which are masked by a peripheral frame (18). This has colours diffusion panels in front of the lamps. A glass front plate (20) with a reflector shield (21) is fitted across the front of the panel (4).

TL;DR: Lotz et al. as mentioned in this paper developed an energy dashboard for real-time evaluation of a heat pump assisted solar thermal system, which uses solar thermal collectors with an electrical heat pump backup to supply space heating and domestic hot water.
Abstract: Lotz, David A. M.S., May 2016. Energy Dashboard for Real-time Evaluation of a Heat Pump Assisted Solar Thermal System. Major Professor: William J. Hutzel The emergence of net-zero energy buildings, buildings that generate at least as much energy as they consume, has lead to greater use of renewable energy sources such as solar thermal energy. One example is a heat pump assisted solar thermal system, which uses solar thermal collectors with an electrical heat pump backup to supply space heating and domestic hot water. The complexity of such a system can be somewhat problematic for monitoring and maintaining a high level of performance. Therefore, an energy dashboard was developed to provide comprehensive and user friendly performance metrics for a solar heat pump system. Once developed, the energy dashboard was tested over a two-week period in order to determine the functionality of the dashboard program as well as the performance of the heating system itself. The results showed the importance of a user friendly display and how each metric could be used to better maintain and evaluate an energy system. In particular, Energy Factor (EF), which is the ratio of output energy (collected energy) to input energy (consumed energy), was a key metric for summarizing the performance of the heating system. Furthermore, the average EF of the solar heat pump system was 2.29, indicating an efficiency significantly higher than traditional electrical heating systems.

TL;DR: In this paper, a monitoring system for an automobile rear-view mirror blind spot consisting of a central processing unit, a left blind spot indicator, a right blind-spot indicator, and radar sensors installed on the left and right rearview mirrors of the automobile is described.
Abstract: The utility model discloses a monitoring system for an automobile rear-view mirror blind spot consisting of a central processing unit, a left blind spot indicator, a right blind spot indicator and radar sensors installed on the left and right rear-view mirrors of the automobile, wherein the central processing unit is connected to the left blind spot indicator, the right blind spot indicator and the radar sensor respectively, the left blind spot indicator and the right blind spot indicator are arranged on an automobile dashboard. According to the monitoring system for an automobile rear-view mirror blind spot, a driver can monitor whether a vehicle exists in the automobile rear-view mirror blind spot, keep alert through the blind spot indicators, and avoid collisions and accidents when an automobile change lanes or turn corners.
