TL;DR: In this article, the speaker is mounted within a hollow, essentially tubular body so that the speaker structure extends into the body, and the rear of the panel is closed off by a housing body, shaped to leave a space or chamber behind the speaker.
Abstract: The loudspeaker is mounted within a hollow, essentially tubular body so that the loudspeaker structure extends into the tubular body. The tubular body is at least in part insertable into an opening of a vehicle panel, such as a dashboard, rear window shelf, or the like. The rear of the panel is closed off by a housing body, shaped to leave a space or chamber behind the tubular body; preferably, the housing body is made of a foam material, or includes, at the inside, a foam rubber material which may be of open pore structure at least in the region facing the tubular body.

TL;DR: In this paper, the steering column and dashboard of a motor vehicle are used for joint raising and lowering and pivoting of the steering wheel and the dashboard. And the dashboard is fitted with a stablilising device, consisting of a sliding guiding device (40/41 and 37) combined with a toothed wheel/ratchet connection.
Abstract: To facilitate the joint raising and lowering and pivoting of the steering wheel (2) or steering column (1) and the dashboard (4) of a motor vehicle, it is proposed to construct a unit consisting of the steering column (1) and the dashboard (4) which can be fitted ready for use in a motor vehicle by means of a suitable bracket (7). The dashboard (4) is fitted with a stablilising device (18) consisting of a sliding guiding device (40/41 and 37) combined with a toothed wheel/ratchet connection (35/36 and 33/34) on widely spaced guide rails (19/20).

TL;DR: In this paper, an approach for protecting and preventing theft of in-dashboard mounted vehicle radios and the like is presented, where the locking apparatus is attached by means of the very same threaded shafts which are utilized as the primary mounting means for the radio instrument itself.
Abstract: Apparatus for protecting and preventing theft of in-dashboard mounted vehicle radios and the like is shown wherein the locking apparatus is attached by means of the very same threaded shafts which are utilized as the primary mounting means of the radio instrument itself. The threaded mounting shafts of the radio instrument secure a backing plate to the face of the dashboard and a cover is removably connected to the back plate in such a manner that it may be locked over the mounting shafts as well as the operable portions of the instrument.
