Cabin space structure for all terrain vehicle

Abstract: A cabin space structure for an all terrain vehicle that enables optimization of the shape of a dashboard in the case where seats are so arranged that three persons can be seated side by side in the vehicle width direction. The cabin space structure includes seats on which three passengers are seated side by side in the vehicle width direction, a step floor on which the passengers seated on the seats place their feet, wheel wells for left and right front wheels, the wheel wells provided to project rearwardly at a left-side portion and a right-side portion of the step floor and the dashboard disposed forwardly of the seats. The dashboard is adapted to restrict forward movement of the passengers seated on the seats. A left-side portion and a right-side portion of the dashboard are disposed on the rear side relative to a vehicle-width-directionally central portion of the dashboard.

Method and device for detecting fog and its application to assisting the driving of a vehicle

Abstract: An infrared light emission is backscattered by the fog. The backscattered part is picked up and then analysed, which allows the visibility to be deduced. As a function of the individual characteristics of the car, this allows a recommended speed to be calculated as a function of the visibility. This recommended speed is compared with the actual speed of the vehicle, which makes it possible to indicate to the driver the risk which he is taking relative to the visibility allowed by the fog. The system comprises: - an emission optical system - a receiving optical system - processing electronics - a system for signalling to the driver using warning lights. The tests will be made with the apparatus mounted behind the windscreen on the dashboard.

Method, apparatus and system for video tuning of a video switching device for a gaming machine

Abstract: A method, device and system are set forth for controlling a video switching device (VSD) configured to display video from multiple video streams at a video display. Where video signals are received which are unrecognized by the VSD a tuner is coupled to the VSD to control the same to extract video primitives adjust the configuration data so that the video stream will be properly displayed at the video display. In another embodiment the tuner may command the VSD to display a diagnostic dashboard for the gaming machine and its components and network connections.
